Sometimes, we need to protect our energy, rest our nervous systems, and trust the process of becoming who we are meant to be.

And honestly? Self-care isn’t selfish—it’s an essential part of that cocoon.

A little note from me 🤍

Something was brought to my attention today that made me stop and reflect.
Occasionally, I run a little behind with appointments. Usually it’s only a few minutes, but those few minutes can add up throughout a busy day — and I completely appreciate that your time is just as valuable as mine.

Most of you know there’s nowhere to hide in my little studio 😂 — if I’m running behind, you’re quite literally sitting there watching me finish the brows before yours! Some of you happily join in with the conversation (and I love you for it 😂), while others politely sit and wait.

But just because you’re lovely about it doesn’t mean I should automatically assume you’re okay with waiting. If I’ve ever kept you longer than I should have, I genuinely am sorry. 🤍

So I’m going to make a few little tweaks to my diary to give appointments a little more breathing room and keep my days running more smoothly. I can’t promise there’ll never be the occasional delay — sometimes appointments simply need a few extra minutes — but I can promise to be much more mindful of it and communicate better when it happens. You choose to spend your time and money with me, and that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

Window Refresh 🧡

I'm not gonna lie, it's so good to finally take down those thermal curtains after this year's heatwave.
I've replaced them with some sage linen curtains so we still have a bit of privacy but the light is pouring back through again.

Updated all the greenery so it's looking a little more Wild Botanical.

There are times when you do a pair of brows and you think to gently say to yourself "yes, these are perfect."

Why i love these brows-
◽️The tone. There ashy and soft but still add definition and when you have a client who can rock a shaved head, you know you best be delivering some structurally perfect brows!

Lamination doesn't have to be bold, dark and scary. It can actually be the thing that gives you structure but also creates softness.

What about you? What do love about these brows?

One of the questions I get asked ALL the time is…

“Kim, what’s actually the difference between a tint and a stain?” 👀

And honestly, they do very different jobs.

✨ A traditional tint mainly colours the brow hairs.

Perfect if you already have a good amount of brow hair and just want them looking a little darker, neater and more defined.

✨ A brow stain colours the brow hairs AND leaves colour on the skin underneath.

That little bit of skin stain is what can make such a difference if your brows are sparse, have little gaps, or you just want them to look fuller and more structured.

The skin stain will gradually fade, while the colour on the brow hairs lasts longer.

And this is exactly why I don’t believe in a “one brow treatment suits everyone” approach. 🙌🏻

Your natural brows, your skin, how much hair you have and the finished look you actually want all matter.

You don’t need to know which one to book before you come in — that’s my job. 😂🤍
