My mum and I will be taking on the Race for Life Pretty Muddy on 20th June 🏃‍♀️💗 — not long to go now!
We’re getting ready to get covered in mud, have a laugh, and most importantly be part of something so meaningful. It’s such an amazing event that brings people together to raise awareness and support the fight against cancer 💕
With it coming up in just a few weeks, it’s also a really important reminder to look after ourselves — and that includes checking your body regularly.
A little reminder for you all (male and female):
Please check your breasts/chest regularly. It only takes a few minutes, but it could make all the difference. Look out for any changes such as lumps, skin changes, or anything that doesn’t feel normal for you — and don’t ignore it. If in doubt, always get it checked 🤍
As someone in healthcare, this is something I feel really passionate about. Early detection can save lives.
