Hi, Ria here. I am back from 2 weeks off in Cornwall now. Tomorrow I am on a course all day (exciting!) but will message everyone I need to get back to at some point tomorrow or weds to sort out appointments. Thanks for being patient! 🤎

I still have a few appointments remaining for September/October. These are open to existing clients of mine only, I am unable to take on any new clients. Please call the salon or drop me a message to get booked in. 40 mins will cover most clipper cutting, 60 min most haircuts, 90 mins is needed for curly cuts.

Today was our Mia’s last day before she goes off to Manchester uni. Both myself and Courtney are immensely proud. We’ve enjoyed working with you so much, it’s been an absolute pleasure. We’re going to miss you, but can’t wait to see what’s next for you in life❤️

Just wanted to come on and say that our books remain closed. We’ve had so many enquiries recently, and we wish we could open our books but neither myself or Courtney are in a position to be able to take on any new clients. The waitlist is so long now that we will likely never get through it.

We know this leaves a lot of you disappointed, particularly the curly haired population who are in need of a hairdresser who understands their hair. I’ve had a chat with a few hairdressers and Joanne Jo Harman has space for a couple of new clients but not evenings or weekends. Joanne has a fabulous home salon in Linton.
I have also been talking with Hair salon in Derby in Derby who have a larger team and are taking on clients, and most importantly they understand curls! Their salon looks beautiful and it’s really great that there’s someone else locally I can send curlies to!

If you’re a hairdresser reading this and you want any advice on where to start with curly hair education, drop me a message and I’m happy to recommend courses/pages to follow. It’s our responsibility as professionals to be able to be inclusive of different hair types and many salons are still falling short. I see it daily with clients in our inbox desperate to find someone who can cut their hair properly. I don’t gate keep, if you want my advice just ask.

A little update from Ria 🤎

Courtney is on holiday until June 10th getting some much needed sun & rest in Turkey. Whilst I will try to get back to her clients as much as I can, please be aware that some of you may have to wait until she’s back for a reply as I don’t generally manage Courtney’s diary.

Me and Tom have finally moved house, so I can finally talk about that without ranting 😂. I am fully booked for June, so if you do need to change appointments please try to give as much notice as possible for me to try and be accommodating. If you’re not booked in and want to be added to my cancellation list then let me know (existing clients only, I’m not in a position to be able to open my books).

On Wednesdays, we wear pink 💖

Obsessed with this pink combo on Jess. We always apply her colour over highlighted hair so that it blends with her natural. It’s obviously not a natural colour, but this technique makes it feel like it could be!

Pink is less of a commitment than some bright colours and fades out between visits very well.

What rhymes with orange?🍊

Freshly inspired by the techniques I learnt at blonde blueprint course, I gave Carly a change today. But instead of blonde, we went orange!

The regrowth will be soft on this and will still look as great in 6 months time with just the odd toner to top up inbwtween.

A little face framing action ✨

Beth wanted to feel a little brighter so I gave her more impact around the front with some face framers and a mixture of teasylights and baby lights. The grow out on this will be soft, with only the front money piece doing in about 8weeks or so
