I genuinely think this girl was BORN to be a hairdresser. ✂️❤️

Michaela hasn't been training with us long and she continues to completely blow me away with how quickly she picks things up.
This time we introduced another brand-new skill — her first one-length haircut. ✂️

After learning and practising the technique, it was straight into more real salon experience with a client. 🙌

The aim was to tackle the unwanted brassy tones, so Michaela got involved with a bleach cleanse before we toned the hair, giving her experience of another colour process alongside everything she's already been learning.

And just LOOK at that finished result. 😍✨
This is what I love about teaching hair at Educ8.

It's not about learning one thing, ticking a box and moving on.
It's about building skills on top of skills — cutting, colouring, styling, sectioning, product knowledge and working with real people — while I'm right there supporting and guiding throughout.

Every session she's learning something new and putting it straight into practice.
And she's only just getting started… 👀✂️

Another new student starting her nail journey with Educ8 Beauty 💅❤️

A huge well done to Daisy, who has completed her Manicure training with us! 🎓✨

Throughout the course, Daisy watched each demonstration before putting what she'd learned straight into practice — working through the full manicure treatment step by step.

From nail and cuticle care through to filing, massage and the finishing touches, it's about understanding why we do each stage as well as learning how to perform it correctly.

Because at Educ8, we don't believe in rushing through techniques just to get to the certificate.

And Daisy's journey doesn't stop here…
Her Gel Polish course is already booked next, where she'll build on the manicure foundations she's just learned and add another professional skill to her toolkit. 💅🙌

This time Phoebe has been developing her skills in Acrylic Nails — from practising bead consistency, ratio and product control, through to putting everything together and completing her full set.

It's always lovely welcoming a student back for another course and getting to be part of their continued progression. ❤️

And now comes the really important part…
PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE! 💅

I always encourage our students to get straight into practising their new skills while everything they've learned is still fresh.

Every set is another opportunity to improve product control, application, shaping and finishing — and with every bit of practice comes more confidence. 🙌
