✨ Healed Ombre Lips ✨

This is what a HEALED Ombre Lip looks like — and I absolutely love how these have settled. 🤍

The only area that has been revisited is the outline of Mia’s top lip. When Mia originally came to me, she had quite a bit of existing scarring through this area. Scar tissue can behave very differently from normal lip tissue and, as a result, doesn’t always retain pigment as evenly. So once healed, I gave this small section of the outline a little boost to bring the definition back where it was needed. 💪🏼

Everything else you’re seeing here is her original healed result.

And you can really see the beauty of the Ombre Lip technique in the healed finish — that soft, blended gradient of colour creating a subtle, shadowy lip-liner effect.

Ombre Lips are particularly suited to clients who want that defined-but-blended lip liner effect, rather than an all-over colour.

Because of the way the shading and contrast need to be built, this technique is generally better suited to a fuller lip, where there is enough surface area to create that beautiful graduation from deeper definition to softer colour.

✨ THE POWER OF A BROW SHAPE ✨

Here’s another great example of how a classic ‘90s Hooked Brow’ can completely change the way the face appears.

Look closely at the before image 👀

The arch has been positioned too far forward, creating that very rounded, hooked shape. This visually shortens the face and pushes the brow into a shape that isn’t working with the natural structure underneath it.

Then look at what happens to the tail.

Because it’s long and drops downwards, it creates a visual drag on the outer eye — making the features appear heavier, lower and more tired.

Now look at the transformation. 👇🏼

By repositioning the arch back towards where it naturally belongs within the brow bone, and creating a shorter, more outward-flowing tail, we completely change the visual direction of the brow.

The result?

✨ The face appears more elongated
✨ The outer eye is visually lifted
✨ The brow looks more balanced

Please bear in mind that whether or not we can tattoo a winged liner, depends entirely on your anatomy. If a wing is not appropriate, we can tattoo a wingless liner instead which looks just as beautiful and deliver the same impact.

The beautiful asymmetric brow transformation from my reel the other day just had to make the grid as a post too. 🤎

This beautiful dark blonde Ombre Brow has been measured and designed completely bespoke to Sophie’s individual facial features, bone structure and natural growth pattern — with the aim of restoring harmony and balance rather than simply creating two identical brows.

Natural brows are rarely perfectly symmetrical, but when the difference becomes more noticeable, carefully considered mapping and tattooing can make a huge difference to the overall balance of the face.

Sophie’s new brows are still very much in their fresh, post-treatment stage here, so there is plenty of healing and softening still to come. She’s been sent away with my strict but easy-to-follow aftercare instructions to give her skin the best possible environment to heal and, ultimately, achieve the best possible result from her first session.

And, of course, I’ll be sharing her heal when she returns for her follow-up appointment — because the healed result is always the one that matters most. ✨
