Today marks 8 years since we opened the doors to Gentlemens Choice for the first time.

What started as a simple idea and a big dream.

This industry isn’t easy. The hours, the standards, the pressure, the expectations.
And yet every day the team shows up, represents the brand, and makes sure every client leaves feeling better than when they walked in.

Gentlemens Choice has always been about quality, service, and standards — and that only exists because of the people behind the chairs.

Over the last 8 years we’ve seen more barbershops open than ever before. Swansea is full of options. The competition is real, and the industry has changed massively.

But through all of that, I’m proud that we’ve stayed true to who we are.

In a city where it feels like a new shop opens every week, we’re proud to still be one of the small number of Welsh-owned barbershops standing strong in Swansea.

We don’t try to be the loudest.
We don’t chase trends.
We focus on consistency, professionalism, and delivering a premium service.

It’s a reminder.

A reminder that loyalty still exists.
A reminder that good service still matters.
And a reminder that when people believe in what you do, they’ll back it for years.
