When I began lashing, I never thought it would impact me as much as it has. A few years back I went through a sh*tty stage in my life.. I left my old job and started lashing alongside my degree and my anxiety faded without me even realising. I don’t think about anything else when I’m doing it and my experience has even inspired others to start, to help combat similar struggles.
When I started my little business, my aim was never to be a fierce competitor, but to be more conscious about building rapport and creating a relaxing environment for myself and clients, where anyone was welcome. I love chatting to you all, giving girly advice and seeing you leave a more relaxed and content person. This is far more valuable for me than seeing you leave with lush lashes. And why?
Because what’s happening on the inside is far more important than what’s happening on the outside.
I’m well aware that the digital era we have grown up in can be daunting, unkind and competitive. We can often feel pressurised, not pretty enough, fat, poor.. the list is endless. But it is so important to understand that what you see on social media is not a representation of life. Everyone has something unique and beautiful about them and being a good person is far more important than anything superficial. It is so important that we care for ourselves and understand what is right and what we can do to help our mind. It’s ok to have sad days and days where you just want positive quotes to f*cking do one, I have these all the time 🤣 but a bad day shouldn’t mean a bad life. I’m proud to be part of a community here where on a daily basis I see girls bigging up others and promoting local businesses, it’s awesome, please keep it up when all this is over. There’s so much more I could say but lastly..

Hey everyone💖 Just a quick update regarding when I’ll be back working... At present, salons and beauty therapists fall under the ‘Amber’ phase of the Welsh Government guidelines to Covid-19. We are unsure when this will start to unfold, however there is talk that this will be sometime in July🥴! I’ve had many messages asking when I’ll be booking appointments etc.. until I know an exact date I can return to work I cannot book specific times, however I have now opened a waiting list for all those that would like an appointment when I am open😊 Please DM me if you would like me to put your name down, I cannot wait to see all your lovey faces again!! Rest assured I am currently completing relevant training to ensure my customers, my work place and myself meet the standards of the welsh government to ensure the safety of all. 💖Important message💖.I’ve been inspired by so many things lately of colleagues and communities coming together to do nice things, so I formed my own to send a positive message out to you all💞. I can’t thank these beautiful girls enough, for being so supportive and willing to be involved.. I’m sorry to anyone I didn’t get a chance to ask, but be sure this post is on behalf of ALL us solo girls in the industry. It was difficult trying to get this many together, I simply couldn’t ask everyone😅.

So, a message to our lovely clients and all... Some of you my class us as essential 🤣 but unfortunately we’re really not. For the past few weeks we’ve had to down tools and stay at home. We want everyone to be safe so that we can get back to work with you soon enough, but we all need to play our part to make this happen. Please don’t be tempted to let things slide, this virus is still out there. We want you to stay home and stay safe. Instead, please take this time to appreciate your loved ones, appreciate the beauty of nature on your walk, be thankful that you can still walk and run and cycle. And without all the glamour we provide, appreciate your natural beauty, because ultimately none of it matters, your health, both physical and mental is what’s most important.
A big shout out to all our frontline clients and all those still working in care, retail etc that are keeping this world spinning. And a shout out to our stay at home babes, take this time to get things done. Stay motivated, be creative, stay kind to yourself. We love you all and hope to see you all soon 🌈♥️ assadi91

Oh this sucks so much 😞😞 I’m sorry to say that I’m joining the hundreds of beauty freelancers, who have today decided to down tools and close their doors. Due to the nature of my work and where I work, it’s obvious that sticking to government guidelines is impossible. It’s only responsible to stop business for a while, to ensure everyone’s safety. Please, please support all those girls in a similar position.. I have so much respect for the tens of local salons and beauticians that have done the same today and hope we all come back bigger and better! Being self employed is incredibly rewarding and starting this little business is one of the best things I’ve done. Rare times like this make it very difficult BUT, I can only count myself lucky. My heart goes out to those still working hard to keep this country going, particularly those working in the NHS, supermarkets, care and public services, THANK YOU💗 from the bottom of my heart. To my existing, previous and future clients: I can assure you that I will be back in business, as soon as all this blows over.. but for now, all appointments booked from tomorrow onwards will unfortunately be cancelled. As soon as we know when it is safe to go back to normality, I will inform you and will of course honour any appointments already booked for future dates. I’m almost sure you’ll all be understanding and supportive, you’re some of the loveliest girls around and a pleasure to have as clients, so I can’t thank you enough for keeping my business going until now.
