🌊 Minimising or taking precautions before exposing your hair extensions to the sea or chlorinated water. The precautions you could take may be using extra oils before swimming or putting your hair in a high bun to ensure the least amount of water gets in contact with the extensions.

👱🏼‍♀️ Elastic bands can be damaging to not only your extensions but your natural hair too. Elastic bands can tangle in your hair and cause it to snap, try to stick to soft bobbles.

🛏️ Using a silk pillowcase or bonnet would prevents your natural hair and hair extensions tangling overnight while you sleep.

💆🏻‍♀️ Applying conditioning masks to the mid and ends of your hair, would benefit not only the extensions but your natural hair too. Hair extensions are not attached to the scalp so they dont get to rejuvenate from the natural oils they would normally receive. Hair oils and masks help to keep your extensions full of the good stuff that they should be getting if they were attached to your scalp. However when applying hair masks avoid the scalp or bonds, as this could cause the extensions to slip down the hair.

Now I know i've been slipping with posting, life has been crazy however what isn't slipping is these extensions.....
So my client was a student looking to have her extensions out in since she wasn't close to her original hair extension technician, of course she sought out the best (definitely not blowing my own trumpet 😋).
MY client provided the hair and I did the fitting, the finished looked is flawless. There was a lot of blending and cutting due to the hair being cut by the previous technician, but it all came together perfectly.
