Happy 40th birthday to Ashgrove House Nursing home. What a wonderful place it is, full of kindness. For 16 years we've been providing therapies there, with many of the original staff still there, which speaks volumes. One big family. Congratulations to Keith and Mary!

Loved every minute of teaching Hand Massage for the Prospect Hospice at the beautiful Savernake View Care home. A great team of staff to spend some time with.

Always a little weather obsessed on a Tuesday as we are out and about in Care Homes and home visits, so lets hope this beautiful start ends well....

Do you or someone you know have Bowel Cancer? One of my lovely clients has set up a support group called the Bowel Bunch. The first meeting is TOMORROW 11.30am - 1.30pm, at the Community Room (inside) Tesco, Octal Way, Swindon and they plan to meet on the third Thursday of the month. This is open to patients and those that support/care for them, so feel free to share this with anyone you think may be interested. I may even see you there at some point carrying out therapies!

The end of one chapter but the continuation of others.....yesterday saw the ending of our treatment room at Nexus. I have been overwhelmed with gifts and messages so thank you. You may still see us in the many care homes or workplaces that we attend, the Macmillan events, and those who receive home visits will continue as normal. Some of you are coming for treatments with me in Tetbury and some are going to Judy and Paula (let me know if you haven't got their details), and I will still see lots of you 'students' when teaching, so you haven't gotten rid of us that easily! So a huge THANK you to the loyalty that you have shown for the last 10 years. Here's to the next 10! Allie

Yesterday whilst I was busy teaching, someone else, somewhere else was busy marking my submitted assignments. Great to come back to this news. Its been a few years since I carried out research and Harvard referencing!
