Hello all,

I have just returned from holiday so please bare with me ive had over 30 emails/whats app/messenger of enjuries, also my website lady is looking into that i am not recieving submission forms from my web page my apologies is anyone reading this has sent one.
I hope everyone is well and be seeing you all every soon for our scheduled appointments.

Corns show up when your skin gets rubbed and squished too much, usually by shoes that pinch or just don’t fit quite right. They feel hard and sometimes hurt, especially when you’re out and about.

So what can you do?

- First, give your feet a soak in warm water and gently file down the rough bits, no heavy-duty scrubbing, just a soft touch.

- Keep your skin happy by moisturising, and treat your feet to shoes that let your toes stretch and relax.

- If that sore patch keeps coming back or is just too painful, don’t stress about asking for help. That’s what specialists like me are here for!

People often ask me:

- “Do corns have roots?” Not exactly! They’ve got a hard centre, but nothing underground. Taking care of that centre is key.

- “Can I treat them at home?” Yes, gentle home care works for loads of people, just steer clear of strong acid treatments, especially if you’ve got diabetes or any concerns about blood flow.

- “Should I be worried about infection?” If things look red, feel hot or swollen, or just hurt, don’t wait, get it checked out, especially if a corn is leaking anything.

- “How do I make sure they don’t come back?” Wear comfy shoes, pop in a soft insole if you need, and keep moisturising. Happy feet are easier to keep healthy!
