The Lash Lady Swindon

One of my clients recently came in and told me she feels like some of her lashes don’t lift 😬

And in true me form, I assessed the lashes in question because happy clients are a must!
And sometimes educating creates understanding and I could tell it was her false layer lashes 🧐

False layer lashes are lashes that sit way above the lash line, these are often finer then the rest of the lash line which can often result in overprocessing these lashes due to being much finer!
If these are as coarse as your normal lashes they can be a lot more visible when not lifted sometimes even poke straight through those lovely lifted lashes below 🪄

~ Why can’t we lift these ?

The red line shows the base of the lash line where the shield needs to sit so that your lashes are lifted sky high!
You can see this client has a few false layer lashes.

If we bend these lashes down so they go under the shield they will have an unsightly bend half way up the lash. Alternatively if we put the base of shield high to fit these in the lift focus becomes aimed for those 2-3 lashes and the rest would barely lift.

~ So what do we do ?

We tuck them out the way!
They sit in their natural position un processed after the lash lift is complete and in most cases barely visible.
90% of my clients have a few false layers some more then others.
For my coarse lash girls we’ve even ocasionally snipped them (At their request of course 🙊)

Wondering what makes the Korean lash lift different to traditional methods?

✨

- Great for clients who have experienced overcurling of their natural lashes elsewhere after their lash lift as it’s a gentler vegan friendly formula.

- Unlike traditional lash lifts the solution is gentle enough to go root to tip and great for correcting natural lashes that grow out unruly naturally or from lash lifts.

- A myth 💭 is that it lasts longer, is incorrect in my opinion as it’s designed to slowly drop hence the more natural grow out (you may prefer) rather then traditional lash lifts last until each lash regenerates.
Most find 6-8 weeks, however we recommend relifting after 9 weeks to start with, as most people find they get 8 weeks out of their Korean lash lift.
Traditional lash lifts is 10 weeks between lifts, so the Korean makes is great for those who like more regular fresh lash lifts and still keeps the lashes in healthy condition despite.

- Strong focus on hydration, like our traditional deluxe lash lift, this service has the two types of nourish steps throughout the service.

- This is a Glueless lash lift
Due to the glue-less process which normally traditional methods hold everything “tightly” glued in place, the appointment may be quieter and focused on you relaxing and unwinding, a great form of self care!

- If your lashes are prone to lifting too easily & over-curling elsewhere this is a slower more gentle product that minimises over-curling.

A year that, on the outside, looks shiny but like a lot of things worth having it was far from it.

This year, so many of you put me in your budget and in a year where money is tight, and a lot of us were just trying to stay afloat… you still showed up.

Behind the highlights were long days, tired nights, doubt, pressure and times where simply surviving felt like the win.
