Myth - Acrylic is a chemical and gel is not.
False - Acrylic monomer (the liquid) just gives off an odur as it evaporates. Gel doesn't do this, but technically they are both chemicals.

Myth - Acrylic ruins your nails.
False - Acrylic doesn't damage nails. Poor application, over filing and incorrect removal is actually what damages the natural nail, leaving them weak and thin.
When applied correctly you can have beautiful AND healthy nails.
