Little arm update 🩷

If you’ve seen me recently, you’ll know my elbow has been giving me some grief 🙈

Turns out repetitive movements trigger it…..ideal career choice then 🫣✂️

I’ve now started weekly shockwave therapy and have been told I actually need to rest it between treatments.

I’m still working as normal and will be taking little stretch breaks through services, but if my arm does flare up, I may need to reschedule your appointment to give it the recovery time it needs, rather than keep pushing through and make it worse ♥️

Hopefully a little bit of sensible Lo now means fully functioning hairdresser Lo again soon 😂🫶🏽

Another autumn girlie 🍂🤎

We didn’t take this one quite as dark as the inspo ~ when you’ve been a super-light blonde for so long, going brunette can feel like a BIG change!

Instead, we softened, toned and warmed her blonde into this gorgeous soft brunette, keeping that little pop of brightness around her face ✨

Proof that an autumn change doesn’t always have to mean dark…..sometimes it’s just about adding warmth, depth and a whole lot of shine 🤎

Remember, colour appointments and party hair will generally need to be booked as separate appointments, so please plan ahead if you’re wanting both during December.

I think this raffle prize found exactly the right person 🩷

Since becoming a mummy, somewhere along the way her own self-care had disappeared a little. Today wasn’t just about new hair ~ it was a few hours to sit, read her book, be looked after and remember how good it feels to take some time for you again 🫶🏽

And it doesn’t always need to be a big transformation. Sometimes it’s simply making the appointment, having the coffee and giving yourself a couple of hours.

Little reminder, especially to the mums ~ taking time for yourself isn’t selfish.
You’re allowed to look after you too 🤍

And okay…..we did take quite a few inches off this time 😂✂️

Sometimes it’s not about changing everything…..just removing the weight and letting the hair do what it naturally wants to do.
And apparently there was quite a lot of weight to remove 🫣🖤

A little HBJ booking update 🤍

This morning I’ve had two appointments cancelled for this week, both with less than the required 48 hours’ notice.

Even though I have a cancellation list, filling larger colour appointments with only a day or two’s notice can be incredibly difficult.

I completely understand that life happens ~ children get poorly, work changes and sometimes things are simply out of our control. I will always try to rearrange your appointment where I can.

But this is said with love…..HBJ is my livelihood 🤍

When I reserve several hours of my diary for an appointment and it’s cancelled at short notice, that is income I often can’t replace.

So going forward, all newly booked colour appointments will require a £30 rolling deposit. You only pay it once and it stays on your account to secure your future bookings.

Appointments already booked are unaffected ~ the deposit will simply begin the next time you make a new colour booking with me.

Thank you for understanding, respecting my time and continuing to support my little business. It genuinely means so much.
