The day vs the trial 💒
I always love sharing the why behind a bridal trial vs the wedding day…
A trial is something I’ll always recommend 🤍 It’s your time to explore what you like, what you don’t and maybe even try something new. It might not be perfect straight away and that’s exactly the point! It gives us the chance to tweak and refine everything so it’s perfect on the day.
Let’s talk about Kerry’s trial…
Kerry initially asked for a simple eye, a brown wing, individual lashes and laminated brows.
On the wedding day, we elevated the look with:
– a more defined crease
– a darker outer corner
– a sharper, smaller brown wing
– and a half lash
- (laminated brows stayed ✨)
After her trial, Kerry also sent me some pictures and let me know she felt quite oily after a few hours so we adjusted that too! On the day, we switched some skincare products, used products she already knows and loved and set the skin more. I know powder can scare people who look a natural finish, but I promise you... powder is key for long lasting makeup 👏🏼
And please never feel like you’re being “fussy”… it’s your wedding day!! Tell me everything. Because Kerry did exactly that and I got the loveliest message the next day saying her makeup was perfect and lasted all day and night 🥹
Makeup isn’t one size fits all. Products sit differently on every skin type and styles vary on every face and eye shape.
