To further break the myth, nail coatings equally are never a pure solid. Tiny molecules such as water and oxygen can still pe*****te through the coating to the nail plate - not that the nail needs the oxygen! Think about it, our nails are the same protein material as our hair, we don’t believe our hair needs a break from hair dye or other hair chemicals do we? 🙄 I hope this helps you explain this to a client if it ever comes up in conversation.
