A little delayed but better late than never! I’m now on maternity leave and will be planning to make a return around August/September time all being well. Poppy is already loving having me home all the time and all the snuggles!

I will be using my little WhatsApp list to update you all and putting stuff on socials. I will be closing down my booking system while I’m off (gotta save those pennies) so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to email 💕

I’m not sure how it’ll look in terms of my diary but I’ll see how motherhood treats me within the next few months and then organise a little plan of return 🩷

Thank you all for being the best clients I could ever wish for. You’re all bloody brilliant and can’t wait to see ya when I return!

🍼 Maternity Leave 🍼

Most of you know my wonderful news by now but new clients/potential clients may not.

If you hadn’t guessed already, I’m expecting this little blessing to arrive in February 2026. 🥰

This means, all being well, I will be starting my maternity leave from hairdressing on 15th Jan.

Im now 20 weeks and working to listen to my body… I’ve realised I need to take it a little easier, potentially shorter days, more breaks & no really super long appointments that take up lots of physical and mental energy. I want to work up until my planned mat leave so will be decreasing hours very slightly to work sustainably up until my leave date but if this doesn’t go to plan, I may need to finish earlier. 🩷

💇🏻‍♀️The return 👩🏼‍🦱

I will absolutely be returning to hairdressing - the time scale is not definitive for when I expect to be back but hoping approx 6-7 months but this is subject to change & I will contact clients when I start to open my diary. My return will be a staged return and likely at limited capacity until I feel it’s time to do my usual hours. ☺️

I’ll be based at my current location in West Swindon until 16th July 💕 then from 21st July, I’ll be in Royal Wootton Bassett which is less than 10 mins away.

I’m setting up a list of clients, past, future and present who want to be kept in the loop with important information. 📱

I send out emails but in some cases, people don’t receive them so I thought I’d set up a more direct line of contact. ☺️

You’ll hear from me infrequently but it’ll be;
- move updates
- general information/updates/announcements
- cancellations

I offer Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday appointments to new clients but I’m really aware of how inconvenient it can be if you’re needing to work but you’re not able to get in with your fave curly specialist 😜😏 on a weekend or evening so I’m bringing a workstation to you!!!

How it works;
✨ Make an appointment and choose the working from home add on.
✨ Bring your laptop to your hair appointment
✨ Plug it in to charge & get on the WiFi.
✨ We chat about your hair & what you’re wanting
✨ I make you a coffee/tea/cold drink
✨ I’ll zip me mouth if needed & you can get on with your work

Alternatively, you can bring some creations, sewing, magazines or books and still make use of the new desk!

A small price increase will take effect from today, 1st March.
