LOOK 06 // THE 2010s

The sixth chapter of our 65-year journey through hairdressing history.

Inspired by the rise of ombré, dip dye and the pastel movement that defined the decade, this look celebrates the soft graduation of colour that transformed modern hairdressing. Baby pink seamlessly melts into pale ash blonde before fading to silver – a trend that became synonymous with the era and continues to influence hair colour today.

Reimagined for the stage, we sculpted this statement panel into a high-shine resin-like form, allowing it to float over the model’s dark hair and catch the light from every angle. A contemporary tribute to the decade that blurred the boundaries between fashion colour and everyday wear.

The Colour Specialist Degree is one of the most advanced colour education programmes in the industry, designed to develop a deep understanding of colour science, formulation, correction, creativity and consultation. It challenges colourists to combine technical expertise with artistic vision, ensuring they can deliver exceptional, bespoke results for every client.

To complete the programme with such an outstanding result is a testament to Jess’s dedication, passion and commitment to her craft. We couldn’t be prouder to have her as part of the Goldsworthy’s team and to see her continue to raise the bar with every opportunity she takes.

Last month our Advanced Stylist .goldsworthys competed in the semi-finals of this year’s L’Oréal Colour Trophy 🖤

Jodie travelled to Bristol alongside her gorgeous model Tara to showcase a bespoke panelled colour design featuring rich plum, pink and magenta tones in the regional heats.

We are incredibly proud of Jodie for reaching this stage of the competition and for creating such a beautiful, creative look 💜
