My last working day at Alignment 🌿✨️ This is not the end!!

Things are changing, as they should, the world continues to turn, and before the next chapter begins, I wanted to pause and say thank you 🙏

This community has never been just a “group” it’s something truly holistic, we built it together on connection, support, and showing up for one another in ways that matter.

I’m so proud of what we’ve created together & every charity, person & personal struggle weve navigated together and continue to do.

Alignment isn’t alignment without you all. Every conversation, every moment, every bit of energy poured into this has made it what it is.

Running Alignment over the last two years has taught me more about myself than I ever expected, or wanted at times 😅, I think we can all agree admin has never been my strong point..... 😅

There are so many people I could thank individually but I realise this isn’t an awards ceremony hahaha.

Just know that if you’ve been part of this, you’ve mattered deeply to me.

Alignment was built during a time of upheaval and challenge, if I’m honest, I never imagined it would still be here, not just existing, but thriving 💚

I feel Proud. Loved. Content & Thankful.

What other image could I choose as my last post of this Alignment chapter but one from The Secret Garden, a book that holds deep personal significance for me. “and it bloomed and bloomed” feels like the only way to describe what this has become 🌿

The spring equinox.
This sabbat of fertility, renewal & awakening.
I've chosen one of my favourite images by , Persehone.

To me, she is the embodiment of Ostara.
In Greek myth, she is the daughter of Demeter, goddess of the harvest. Hades takes her to the underworld which he rules over. *Depending on whose telling… some call it love, others abduction...

In Demeter’s grief, the earth becomes barren.
Eventually, Hades & Demeter agree a compromise, Persephone spends part of the year in the underworld, and part above ground with Demeter.

Her presence in each realm is the "cause" of the seasonal shifts we experience.
Each Spring the Earth becomes fertile and alive again.

Persephone represents duality, both Queen of the underworld, tied to death and endings, but also a bringer of new life & growth.
She is often shown with asphodel flowers. In Greek mythology, asphodel is a flower of remembrance, associated with the souls of the dead. Here, it acts as a bridge between worlds, death and life, Winter and Spring.
When shown alongside Persephone it's a reminder us that growth doesn’t erase darkness , it comes from it.

Persephone is Ostara. She is the seed, the promise of growth, the return of warmth.
I believe transformation is cyclical. Something that brings me great strength in times of change.
She couldn't be more perfect as I navigate this ever changing chapter in my life.

I've always had a complicated relationship with money.
The more I have, the more stressed I feel.
I choose to live simply, the desire for excess just isn’t in me.
From a business perspective, Alignment has always been tricky. Not because I don’t value my time, energy, or work, I value them deeply! but because I wish life didn’t revolve around money at all.
However like everyone, I have to live.

So for my final official month, I want to do this fully authentically.
A little social experiment.
A return to something older & more human.
