Thank you to everyone who donated or helped to make this year Free Christmas breakfast/lunch meal a success. It wouldn’t had happened without you all. I have been doing this every year for 4 years now and must say this year was a lesson to be learnt, nearly 200 meals was served to the point where we ran out but still made sure we fed everyone that needed to be fed as much as we can and people were given atleast a present.

Every year I am more humbled by the difference this makes, the impact it makes in the community even if sometimes i am hard on myself by thinking its not enough or more could be done, but then when you see the smile on their faces when they leave or the 2 mins chat of how they were happy to be surrounded by people and not alone , it gives me some hope and relieve that it is indeed making some little difference .

I have embarked on this journey of speaking to Ex drug addicts in recovery to raise awareness about drugs addiction and the impact it has on families and societies by interviewing people with real life experiences who want to share their journey in hope it will raise awareness and help others who might be going through yrecovery but regardless we must never forget that Empathy, Love and kindness is important to understand them too.
