✨ How much recognition do you get in your job? ✨

For most of my corporate life, I think I just accepted that I did a job and in return, I got a salary.

There were occasional thank yous and moments of recognition, but they were few and far between. And I don’t think I realised until I started building my own team just how important feeling appreciated actually is.

It’s something that matters hugely to me now.

I want the people in my team to know that I SEE them. I see the effort, the consistency, the little wins, the big achievements and everything in between. 💚

And one of my absolute favourite things is finding little ways to celebrate them. 🥳

From cocktail boxes arriving through the post 🍹 to bottles of fizz 🥂, personalised gifts, handwritten messages, cupcakes waiting on the table at Glammies 🧁 and, earlier this year, introducing our Ambassador of the Month so I can shine a spotlight on someone who deserves that extra bit of recognition. ⭐️

They don’t have to be huge things. It’s the thought behind them that matters.

I genuinely get far more pleasure from giving than receiving, and thinking up those little touches is one of my favourite parts of leading a team.

Because nobody ‘has’ to choose me as their Tropic Leader… there’s plenty of us out there to join. And nobody has to stay. I never want to take for granted the fact that these incredible women chose to join me and continue to be part of what we’re building together.

The Tropic Rocket Stars really are an incredible bunch of women from all walks of life. 🚀⭐️ And I hope every single one of them knows just how grateful I am that they’re here. 💚

✨ GLAMMIES THROWBACK ✨

A little trip down memory lane… all the way back to my very first Glammies in March 2018! 🥹💚

So many years, so many photos and SO many memories.

There really is nothing quite like Glammies. ✨

It’s getting together with my girls, catching up with ambassadors from other teams and being surrounded by hundreds of wonderful women (over 4,000!) and a few men who are absolutely bossing their businesses! 💪🏼

And one of the loveliest things when I look back through these photos is seeing how many of the women I originally met through Tropic have become genuine friends over the years. 💚 People I now can’t imagine not having in my life.

And now it’s finally Glammies weekend again!! 🥳 Wahoooo!!

I cannot WAIT to see everyone, feel all the Tropic love, get ridiculously excited about all the Christmas goodies 🎄, celebrate everyone’s achievements and hear more about the incredible charities we’re supporting this year. 🥹

But mostly… I just can’t wait to see my girls and be back amongst some of my favourite people.

After the last few months, I think a weekend filled with hugs, laughter, dancing, celebrating and LOTS of love is exactly what I need. 💚

Bags aren’t packed yet and I’m leaving in 3 hours but who cares! 🤣
