The dreamiest blonde + bouncy blow-dry ✨

It had been a few months since my fabulous client’s last appointment, so we had a little work to do to bring the blonde back to life.

The ends were feeling a little dull, so we brightened those up while adding in fine babylights right through the root area to give us that gorgeous, soft blonde without creating a harsh regrowth line

The goal?
✨ Bright
✨ Soft
✨ Dimensional
✨ And, most importantly, easy to maintain

Because the babylights are so fine and softly placed through the root, this will grow out softly rather than leaving a strong line — meaning longer between appointments (yayyyyyy)

3.5 hours in the chair later… and we finished with the dreamiest bouncy blow-dry 🤍

This is why I LOVE a lived-in blonde.

Back in June, my client had the goal of going blonde and lightening out some previous colour, but the contrast between her natural regrowth and the blonde was making maintenance feel a little more demanding.

So the goal wasn’t to take away the blonde…

It was to make the blonde WORK better for her.

We added highlights while keeping plenty of her natural colour running through, creating more dimension and a much more seamless grow-out.

Still blonde. Still bright. Just a little more chill between appointments 🤍

Because low-maintenance blonde doesn’t have to mean going dark.

No bleach was used in the process of freshening up my client’s hair 🧙‍♀️✨

Sometimes hair just needs a little break — whether that’s due to hormonal changes, stressful life events, illness or changes in your diet and nutrition.

All of these things can affect your hair, and you may notice it feeling thinner, more breakage through the ends, or thinning around the root and crown area.

My client would normally have scalp bleach and foils, but this time we decided to give her hair a little breathing space. Instead, we’ve worked with her natural hair colour, toned the blonde and used temporary colours through the ends to keep that vibrant pop and super cool blonde — without putting unnecessary stress on the hair.

Sometimes you don’t need to completely change your hair to make it feel fresh again. 🤍
