Nobody books a ThermaVein appointment because they’re fascinated by thermocoagulation. 😂

They book because:

Their concealer never quite covers the vein around their nose.

There’s a red spider on their cheek that photographs more than they’d like.

They’ve noticed more little vessels appearing over the years.

Or there’s one tiny red mark they keep staring at and they don’t even know what it is.

Then they come in and I start talking about probes and vessels and blanching and suddenly they’re getting an accidental skin lesson as well. 😂

But ultimately, the treatment is pretty simple:

Work out what it is.
Make sure it’s suitable.
Treat precisely.
Let the skin heal.

And that’s why I love doing it.

She booked in for one nose vein. We ended up treating three things. 😂

She originally came in because of a thread vein running up her nose that was really difficult to cover with concealer.

While we were looking at it, she mentioned a tiny red spot that had appeared on the end of her nose.

So we checked it.

Glass slide on → it blanched → vascular.

Zap zap zap. Gone.

Then I spotted a little cherry angioma starting on the side of her nose.

Also suitable.

Zap. Sorted.

And this is something I think is worth saying because an appointment with me isn’t always just:
'You booked for this one thing, so that is the only thing I’m touching.'

If I spot something else that’s suitable, straightforward, and we’ve got time to safely deal with it there and then, I’m not going to say:

'Oh yes, I can treat that too… that’ll be another £X.'
Or:
'Book another appointment and come back next week.'

Obviously everything still gets assessed properly first and not every red mark should just be zapped because it’s there.

But where it’s appropriate?

We’re already here.
The machine’s already on.
You’re already in the chair.

Let’s sort it. 😂

Can we retire the 'bloodier = better microneedling' thing now? 😂**

I don’t get bonus points for making your face look like a crime scene.

With SkinPen, I’m not chasing blood. I’m chasing the right response from your skin.

That means the depth I use depends on what I’m treating, where I’m treating it and what your skin actually needs.

Acne scarring? Different approach.
Fine lines? Different.
Texture? Different again.

Sometimes there’ll be pinpoint bleeding. Sometimes there won’t.

Neither tells you whether the treatment was 'good'.

More aggressive does not automatically mean more effective.

The goal is controlled stimulation of collagen - not creating the most dramatic after photo on Facebook.

And if bloody microneedling pictures have been the reason you’ve thought 'absolutely bloody not'…

…you can unclench now. 😂

'Okay Vicky… but what does it actually COST to have these things removed?'

Probably one of my most asked questions, so here’s the simple answer 👇

❄️ CryoPen pricing starts at:
1 lesion - £75
2 lesions - £100
3 lesions - £125
4 lesions - £150

BUT - and this is important - I don’t just keep multiplying that forever. 😂

If you’ve got a cluster of skin tags around your neck, for example, I’ll usually price the area as a whole - often £150 to treat the lot, depending on what’s there.

If you’ve got a larger area with lots of seborrhoeic keratoses, skin tags or a mixture of lesions, I can also price treatment by CryoPen cannister rather than per individual lesion.

So pricing really depends on what you have, how many there are and the area we’re treating.

The easiest thing to do?

📸 Send me a clear photo.

I can usually give you an idea of suitability and cost before you even book.

No mystery pricing. No wondering whether that collection of 25 skin tags is about to bankrupt you. 😂

Some of you find me because of one bloody vein. 😂

So yes, we can absolutely talk about the thread vein across your cheek or that seborrhoeic keratosis you’ve hated for years.

But we can also talk about why your skin suddenly feels different in your 40s.

Sometimes the safest thing is to treat.

Sometimes it’s to wait.

Sometimes it’s to refer.

And sometimes it’s to tell you that the treatment you came in asking for probably isn’t the thing your skin actually needs.

The clinic is focused on advanced skin health and rejuvenation, and that means assessment comes before treatment every single time.

I use medical-grade skincare, advanced skin analysis and clinically led treatments - but none of that matters if I’m not prepared to say 'no' when 'no' is the right answer.

You might leave with a treatment plan.

You might leave with a recommendation to get something checked.

You might leave having spent absolutely nothing.
