From our early roots of renovation chaos to the buzzing community you see today, Collar Factory has grown into something we didn’t quite expect: a real home for Taunton’s entrepreneurs and innovators.

We’ve hosted countless gatherings, watched businesses flourish, welcomed four-legged friends (and their humans), and said goodbye to some wonderful people as they embarked on new journeys. But the through-line? You. The community that shows up, that makes this space what it is.

Why High Five?

Everyone loves a high five, right? In some cultures, the number five is considered lucky, it can represent adventure and curiosity, and is a prime number too. There are five Olympic rings, each representing a continent, and there are five Spice Girls. Five is a good number. It’s a celebratory number.

Pulling together our first collection was no small feat, but we’re just getting started.

A few days ago, Sue visited us to present the mission of . PromiseWorks is a Somerset-based charity that provides long-term, one-to-one mentoring for vulnerable children and young people. Trained volunteers offer consistent support, helping them build confidence, resilience, and a more hopeful future.
