Latest Covid-19 policy when visiting the salon

COVID-19 Policy
Update 19th July 2021

In light of the latest news from the government regarding freedom day on July 19th, boon.hair will taking the stance that we will continue with caution and the necessary Covid-19 safety measures will remain in place.
Please stay safe, so we can remain open as a small business.



VISITING THE SALON
Due to the size and nature of the studio space and to maintain a level of social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointments as close to the appointment time as possible. Please do not turn up early for appointments as this may mean that you come into contact with other clients who are just leaving.

We will continue the increased frequency of cleaning in the salon including making sure that common surfaces, door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products between each client. 
All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in line with the specific manufacturers’ instructions for your safety. 
Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally, friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross infection.

WEAR A FACE COVERING
It is not mandatory for all clients to wear a face covering to the salon however due to the close proximity of the service clients and staff may feel it is sensible to wear a mask/face covering at times during your hair appointment.
You maybe asked to unhook mask ear loops to be able to cut around ears on short hair towards the end of your appointment.
We do have disposable face masks available for you if you forget your own.

HAND SANITISER
We will continue to provide hand sanitiser on entry and exit of the salon.

SOCIAL DISTANCING
The studio space will remain exclusive to you and your household during the appointment time.

KIDS
We are offering hair cutting services for all ages!
Parents/Guardians who are accompanying the child are welcome to remain in the studio space.

BOOKINGS
If you are contacted by track and trace or any of the people you live with display any symptoms of C0VlD-19 – please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON

🤞🏼All being well, On Tuesday 6th April I will be making my way through the ever growing waiting list to book appointments starting from Monday 12th April. I plan to make appointments for anyone on the waiting list before restarting the online bookings on Saturday 10th April.
