If you look at the picture taken, can you see how the nail curves inwards at the sides causing the nail to seperate from the gel? This is due to the nail being dehydrated.
When nails are dehydrated the nails actually shrink and shrivel.
As the cured gel stays in position but the nail changes shape and position due to being dry this can then cause product to lift very easily.
We see a lot more of this in the winter months due to the cold weather. The best way to avoid this is by religiously using your cuticle oil or balm twice a day. This will hydrate your nails and make your manicure last longer!
