Hi everyone,

We completely understand that sometimes plans change and appointments need to be moved. However, missed appointments and late cancellations have a significant impact on our small business, as we are often unable to fill that time at short notice.

This week alone, we have had eight missed appointments. The lost income from those appointments would have covered the salon’s rent for the entire week.

Because of this, we will now need to introduce the following cancellation policy:

• Cancellations made with 24–48 hours’ notice: 50% of the appointment cost
• Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments: the full appointment cost

We never want to charge clients unnecessarily, so please let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. This gives us the best chance of offering the appointment to someone else.

Thank you so much for understanding and for continuing to support our small business.
