🌟It’s been a varied week and clients have seen instant visual differences.

🥰 The mental load, so many of us carry, has been lightened by using my services.

💁🏻‍♀️ How many times have you gone to a department store’s multiple make up counters to buy make up to make you look and feel better, only to buy something you’ve been persuaded to buy something that doesn’t suit you or you haven’t bought anything because the overwhelm of choice was just too much to handle? 😩😭 I hear you!

💄As well as my Colour and Style services another service I offer is make up consultations and I love colour matching foundation and cosmetics specific to my clients colouring and needs.

😊 I apply the make up whilst talking through what I am applying and the placement of products for a flattering look.

🙂 As we mature our skin can lose its elasticity and where we may have applied our products in our 20’s may not work so well in our 40’s, 50’s & 60’s. But don’t worry I will help you with all that and also advise you on brushes and applicators for a beautiful result.

☀️I have had a fabulous week of helping more women feel more like themselves again.

🙄 There are times in our lives when we stop and take stock of everything and time and time again a lot of women ask the same question, “Who am I?”.

A lot happens in a woman’s life by the time she gets to 50 and I know a lot of us at some point have felt quite lost, especially with changing body shapes due to having children, weight gain/loss, , , change of career, relationship breakdowns, illness and bereavement amongst other things.

This is why I love doing what I do. I help….

It’s all about the make up today! 💄💋
Today’s client was gifted a make up consultation for her birthday by a close friend. (Yay to her bestie! 🙌🏻❤️) A great way of helping someone prioritise and make time for themselves. 🥰

🥰 I started by prepping her skin with a mini cleanse, tone and moisturise using the cleanser & toner followed by the anti ageing day cream.

🧡We had a bit of a chat while the creams were working their magic.

💛I then applied the CMB Velvet Touch primer to give the foundation a good base. I love this primer! It smells of citrus deliciousness 🍋 adding just a touch of my neutral primer to lighten and brighten any dark areas before applying the foundation.

🤩 Colour matching her foundation with her skin tone so as to smooth her complexion (and not add colour!) was super important to achieve a flawless, youthful look.

🧡A light dusting of translucent powder to set it before applying blush, eye makeup up and lips! 💋

💄What I loved about today was that this beautiful lady was very open about always using what she’s always used, not thinking too much about it, like so many others….and that’s ok because by having this make up consultation she was able to see and test the colours that work best for her colouring. A true colour matching experience to complete her whole look as everything is taken into consideration when I do a make up…. and I surprised her with some gorgeous corals, peaches and reds instead of the cool pink she had been wearing!

✨Unfortunately I don’t have any before and after pics as with so many of my clients because this is a very personal time for them. But take my word, she looked beautiful before the make up and after! 😉😍

✨One of the things I talk about during a Style Consultation is proportions; that is, the relationship of your body to your legs, as well as the position of your waist. Often overlooked is your rise (the distance between the base of your bottom and waist). So for example, someone with shorter legs can have a short, average or long rise.

Why is this important? Well, once you understand your body proportions, you’ll be able to combine clothes that appear to adjust any imbalances and give the illusion of perfect proportions.
