Haven't posted in absolutely ages but I need to now put this out there..
Many of you will already know but some may not as I haven't yet seen you for your appointments..

I have a date booked for my bo***es! 🙌

I am having surgery on Wednesday 22nd July and have blocked out an entire 4 weeks for recovery. Hoping healing goes smoothly as my first week back is already rammed with clients 🤣🙈.

I am well aware that this will wreak havoc with a lot of appointments and I apologise in advance for that (but I've wanted bo***es for 18 years). I don't take weekends off or have holidays (its been 12 years since my last actual holiday) so I hope you all appreciate and understand that this is the only time in forever that I will be taking time off for me, no matter how sore or uncomfortable I will be for a little while 😆.

Anyhow, its out there in the universe now and i am excited that so many of you have shared your excitement with me about this.

I will be booking everyone in as normal up until date of surgery but can't guarantee any special treatment to anyone in terms of squeezing everyone in right before I am off for a month (just not logistically possible unfortunately).

With that said, much love and I look forward to seeing your faces as usual over the coming weeks.

Price Update Notice 💅✨

I just wanted to pop a little update on here regarding pricing.

Over a year ago, the cost of my products increased quite significantly. I made the decision at the time not to raise my treatment prices, and I’ve continued to absorb those increases ever since. However, I’m definitely starting to feel the impact of that now.

The good news is — my base treatment prices will remain the same across the board. 💕

What will be changing is that I will now be charging for additional extras such as nail art and repairs.

Most of you know (and some of you will probably laugh at this 🙈) that I’m terrible for not charging for extra time and detail work. I’ve said before that I would start charging properly for nail art… and then completely chickened out.

But moving forward, I’ll be introducing a small charge for nail art and any additional repairs. This means some appointments may increase from £33 to up to £38, depending on the design and extra time involved.

This isn’t about tit-for-tat pricing or matching anyone else — it’s simply about making sure my time, products and attention to detail are valued properly. Even with these small changes, I will still remain very competitive and cheaper than many local salons offering similar services.

This will come into play as of 1st April. I like to give notice even though it's a minor increase.

As always, I’m so grateful for every single one of you and your continued support. It genuinely means the world to me.

Hi lovely ladies,

I wanted to give you a quick update about my recovery. After my recent arm procedure, I had initially planned to return to work last week, but I’ve realised that my arm isn’t quite ready for the full demands of my job just yet. To make sure I can provide you with the best, safest service, I’ll be taking one more week off.

I truly don’t take this decision lightly. Being self-employed, every day off is unpaid, and I feel like I’ve let myself—and you—down. Please know this extra week is simply so I can fully recover and return at full strength, ready to give your nails the care and detail they deserve.

I completely understand if you need to go elsewhere in the meantime, and I want to reassure you that all existing appointments from my return date onward are safe and will be honoured. Most of you are booked up well into Christmas, so everything will continue as planned once I’m back.

I just wanted to let you all know that I’m still unable to return to work next week while my arm continues to heal after surgery. I’ve been doing everything I can to rest and recover, but it’s taking a little longer than I’d hoped.
I’m so sorry for any inconvenience this causes — I know how much you look forward to your appointments, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your patience and understanding. This is my first proper time off in almost 7 years, so it feels very strange to slow down, but I really want to make sure I’m fully healed and ready before getting back to work. Today marks the first day of any arm movement and that was to butter a crumpet 🤣🤦‍♀️😭.
I’ll be in touch as soon as I’m able to reopen my diary, and I can’t wait to see you all again soon. Thank you for being so kind and supportive — it truly means the world. ❤️

I need to apologise for the wrong date I posted in my last post. I had surgery today this afternoon.
All went well once they finally managed to get my stitches to stay closed. All that filing over the years has kept my arm nice and toned apparently lol.
So, I am on strict no work orders for a full week. And now I've had the procedure, I am not going to question it. Internal and external stitches and in a sling. There's no way I can do what I do after a procedure like that as the lump was larger and deeper than first thought (had grown since my ultrasound).
So thank you all for understanding. I have messaged nearly all clients that will be effected this week.
