🚫 FOR WHAT FEELS LIKE THE MILLIONTH TIME… NO CHILDREN IN THE SALON. 🚫

These photos are from yesterday.

Blackberry juice splattered up the walls. Dirty footprints all over our white salon furniture.

And this isn’t a one-off. Over the years we’ve dealt with food on the sofas, dirty shoes on chairs, damaged furniture, marks on the walls and constant disruption to appointments because people choose to ignore a very clear policy.

Before anyone jumps to conclusions… I’m not a monster. I have three boys myself, so I completely understand how difficult childcare can be, especially during the summer holidays. I genuinely do get it.

But the salon is not the place for children.

This is a professional working environment where clients come to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. We also work with hot wax, sharp tools and professional products, making it unsafe and unsuitable for children.

The summer holidays don’t change our policy.

If you arrive for your appointment with a child, your appointment will be cancelled and the appropriate cancellation fee will be charged. Please don’t put us in the awkward position of having to refuse your appointment on the day.

This isn’t about being unkind—it’s about protecting our salon, respecting our other clients’ experience and maintaining a safe, professional environment for everyone.
