Did you know, the whole point of a balayage is to be able to custom it the clients vision?

For me, I 9.5/10 like to keep the root of a client natural. Why? Because the grow out is better. No harsh regrowth lines, no trying to colour match, no coming back every 4-6 weeks to get it redone.

However I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing, sometimes a painted on root is needed/wanted, and that’s okay too. The main point is, it’s your hair, whatever will make you feel the most beautiful, bada** self, I will do 🤍

Key points:-
As it’s grown out we felt like it was looking more like an ombré and lacked dimension
She LOVES having her roots natural, which allows her to go longer in between appointments.

What we did:-
🌸 Kept her roots natural
🌸 took her blonde up higher, blending it into her natural.
🌸 added a few natural brown low lights to break up the ‘block blonde’ at the ends.

A lot of my girlies are going for a more natural lived in look and I’m living for it!

Key elements during consultation..
🔑 she loves being blonde and seeing blonde. But she doesn’t like the harsh grow out of having it up to the root
🔑 she’s in her ‘hair health’ era, so maintaining the health of her hair is important
🔑 she felt her hair was ‘dull’ and ‘lacked dimension’

All these are important when choosing which root to go down and which outcome will be better for her goals/concerns.

So we decided on a balayage, keeping her root natural, keeping away from white/ash blonde,, but putting in a little face frame so when she looks in the mirror, she can see blonde.

So after a year of doing a copper toner over highlights, she took the leap and decided to make it permanent 🤩
