If you’ve had laser hair removal before and didn’t get the reduction you expected, it doesn’t automatically mean laser “doesn’t work” for you…
There are several things that can influence the results of a laser course.
The technology being used matters, but so do the settings selected for your skin and hair, how those settings are adjusted as your course progresses, the timing between your appointments and whether the hair being treated is actually suitable for laser.
Hair also grows in different cycles, which is exactly why laser isn’t a one-session treatment. Each appointment is designed to target hairs during the active growth phase, gradually reducing regrowth throughout your course.
And even after a successful course, maintenance sessions can still be completely normal. The goal is long-term hair reduction, not the promise that you’ll never see another hair again.
So if you’ve previously invested in laser and felt like your results didn’t match your expectations, it may be worth understanding why before deciding laser isn’t for you.
Your journey should start with understanding your skin, hair, previous treatments and what results are realistic for you.
