BIG ANNOUNCMENT 🚨 (and yes I know im mad, maybe a mid life crisis but...)

In April 2027, I’ll be taking on the Brighton Marathon, raising money for Mind—a cause that is incredibly close to my heart.

I’m choosing to support Mind because mental health has deeply affected my life and my family. I’ve seen first-hand how challenging it can be, especially when you don’t fully understand what someone is going through.
My husband has struggled with his mental health for many years. There was a time when I felt like I failed him—I didn’t understand how to help, and that lack of understanding took its toll. It ultimately led to the breakdown of our marriage.

But this isn’t where our story ended.

With time, support, and a lot of learning, we found our way back to each other. After nearly two years apart, we reconciled—and today, we are stronger than ever. He is my biggest supporter, and I am his.

That journey is one of the main reasons I’m running this marathon. I want to raise awareness, improve understanding, and support others who may be going through similar struggles—whether they’re experiencing mental health challenges themselves or trying to support someone they love.

Mind provides vital help, advice, and support to those who need it most. By donating, you’re helping ensure that no one has to face mental health struggles alone.
Training for a marathon will be tough, but it’s nothing compared to the challenges so many people face every day. Every mile I run will be for them, my husband, my sister and my brother who also struggle with mental health and im so proud of them for keeping strong and fighting through it.
