Autumn has arrived at Shorty’s 🍂🤎

Our autumn window display is one of my favourites! Drying hops and pumpkins, what more could you want?! 😍

Autumn has also welcomed all of the warmer manicure tones. This is definitely my favourite season for nails!

Here we have the beautiful Bio Sculpture ‘Rosewood Startdust’ - isn’t it gorgeous? The perfect colour for Autumn! 🤎🧡

We are very kindly gifted our beautiful hop bines every year from a local gent called Sam. Him & his wife go out of their way at their busiest time, to delivery hops to me and I just wanted to say thank you, it really is much appreciated and I’m very grateful 😊

I had the privilege of visiting our lovely new neighbours House To Home today, at their opening afternoon and it’s absolutely beautiful! 😍

I met the House to home team a few weeks ago when they took over number 8 and they have worked tirelessly since transforming it into the most wonderful home interior shop.

Time for a little break 🩷

I’m taking a few days off over the next week for a little break with my family.

Opening hours will be as follows -

• Saturday 4th - Thursday 9th - Closed
• Friday 10th - 9am - 7pm
• Saturday 11th & Sunday 12th - Closed

Back open as normal from Monday 13th July, all messages will be replied to from this date too! ☺️

Weather update ☀️

What a week! 🥵

Lots of you have messaged me to check if treatments are still going ahead, so I thought I’d update everyone to make it easier.

I am still planning on working as normal, but the salon is very hot so I will be monitoring it very closely - if the temperature is unbearable then I will contact clients to discuss your appointment. Luckily the treatment room does stay on the cooler side, so hoping that is the case over the next few days!

I will be altering any hot stone/lava shell/Himalayan salt stone massages over the coming days to either a Swedish or Deep tissue massage if necessary, please let me know if that doesn’t work for you if you have these booked in.

I completely understand that you may not want to visit us whilst it’s so hot, so I will be wavering late cancellation charges for this week (sunbed appointments included in this). I want you to be comfortable and enjoy your experience with us, above all else.

Stay hydrated, sit by the fan for the foreseeable and don’t forget to wear your SPF!
