As skin specialists, we see this in our own businesses. Not everyone will prioritise spending £150 on a treatment and that’s absolutely fine. It doesn’t mean your treatment is overpriced or that you should lower your prices. It might simply mean they’re not your client. Also ok.
Not every product or service has to be for everyone. Agende sold out, so clearly knew exactly who it was for 🫶🏻

I used to be a commercial buyer so I do understand volume based discounts 🤡
BUT
That archaic system doesn’t work when your customer based is 70% solo and trying to protect their cash flow.
Ever been bumped down a tier or felt pressure to buy product just to keep your margin?
I’m that skin specialist who always forgets to do her own skin - classic.

I love it when my friends and family support my business.
But I don’t think they owe me that.
Some of the strongest communities are built because strangers become clients, clients become your champions and the champions tell other people.
Gold stars all round ⭐️
That’s where I’d rather spend my energy.
Not wondering why someone I know didn’t like my latest post…
The people who do engage are already telling you they connect with what you’re putting out into the world.
Build for them.

That’s where I’d rather spend my energy.

Listen to the people who are commenting, sharing, buying, recommending and coming back. Build for them.
