Just a quick note.

Salon will be closed today and tomorrow (Fri 12th/Sat 13th).

Kate’s husband, Martyn, has had a successful surgery and is home. They are having the weekend to recuperate as a family.

Kate will be in next week:

Thurs/Fri/Sat/Weds 18th/19th/20th/24th - AM till lunch time. 🎄 🎅🏼 ☃️

When you’re in your 20s doing hair…
you walk into that salon like you OWN the place.
High heels.
Big hair.
Full glam.
Looking like a Texas Barbie ready to conquer the beauty world.
You swear you’re gonna be the fanciest stylist on the planet forever. 💁‍♀️👠✨

And then… life, gravity, and 20 years +
behind the chair happens. 😅

Suddenly the heels are gone because your feet said “ABSOLUTELY NOT.”

Your varicose veins are screaming.
Your back sounds like a bag of chips every time you bend.
And those cute little shoes?
Yeah… now it’s trainer, crocs, orthopedic insoles, and anything with “comfort” in the description. 😂👟

Makeup?
Don’t make me laugh 🤭
… if I manage mascara and a bun, it’s a holiday.

These days I’m more worried about your hair than mine — and honestly?
That’s called growth. Or exhaustion. Or both. 🤣❤️

But let me tell you this:
Whether I was a 20-something glam queen or a 50-something bun-and-croc warrior…
We love every minute behind that chair.
