🎃🖤 HALLOWEEN FLASH FOR PIXIE 🖤🎃

This one is a little bit more special than our usual flash days. ❤️

On Friday 9th October, I’m holding a 1½ hour Halloween Bottomless Tattoo Session, with the aim of raising £150 for PDSA Sheffield, in loving memory of our beautiful little Pixie. 🐾🌈

I’ll be selling 50 raffle numbers at £3 each, with one lucky winner receiving the full 1½ hour session. You’ll be able to choose from the Halloween flash sheet, with designs up to 2 inches, and get as many little tattoos as we can comfortably fit into your allotted time. 👻🎃🖤

But this isn't really about the tattoos. It's about giving something back to the people who cared for our girl when we couldn't make her better ourselves 😭💔🐾

Last week the PDSA hospital did absolutely everything they could for precious Pixie 🥺 They ran every test they could, gave her medication, fluids, pain relief and constant in-patient care while we desperately hoped they would find an answer. Sadly, she passed away after a week off fighting at only 5 years old and before they could find out what was wrong, but the love and compassion they showed her during that awful week meant more to us than we could ever put into words. ❤️

So I wanted to turn something I love doing into something meaningful in her honour. Every £3 number will help PDSA continue caring for pets whose families, just like us, need them when things become frightening and uncertain. 🐾

50 numbers. £3 each. £150 target. One hour and a half of spooky tattoos. And one very special little girl at the heart of it all. 🖤

For Pixie. For PDSA. For all the little ones who need someone to fight for them. 🌈🐾

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful Pixie tonight, shes gone over rainbow bridge 🌈 and right now we just need to be together as a family, grieve our little girl and help our children through losing her too. 🐾❤️

She was such a huge part of our lives, and our hearts are completely broken 💔😭

Just a little update for my lovely clients ❤️

Pixie has unfortunately had another wobble this afternoon and has been admitted back into PDSA overnight, so things are a little up in the air again.

I’ll still be doing my afternoon/evening appointments where possible, but I may need to shuffle a few things around depending on how she is.

Pixie comes first for now, but I’ll keep you all updated. 🐾🤍

🤍 A little update from Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio 🤍

Just a little personal update as I know some of you have been following what’s been happening with our little Pixie. 🐾❤️

Although she’s now been allowed home from hospital, she is still very poorly and needs constant care and supervision, so things are going to be a little different for me this week.

I will still be working appointments after 3pm, as my husband is home then and can take over Pixie’s care while I’m in the studio.

Unfortunately, I’ll need to rearrange my morning appointments this week to later in the afternoon or, if needed, into next week. I’m really sorry for any inconvenience this causes and I genuinely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding while we get our little pickle through this. 🥹❤️

I’m doing my best to keep things running as normally as possible, but right now Pixie has to come first. 🐾

Thank you to everyone who has messaged, checked in and sent love. It honestly means more than you know. ❤️

💗 A little update from Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio 💗

I’ve debated whether to post this, but I feel it’s important to explain why the studio will be closed over the weekend and why I may not be around to answer messages.

As many of you know, our little Pixie is currently very poorly and has been admitted for treatment, investigations and monitoring. She’s having a really difficult time, and right now we simply don’t know what the next few days are going to look like. 🐾💔

As you can imagine, this has completely knocked our little family sideways. My head and heart are very much with Pixie, and with my children and family as we try to navigate what is an incredibly worrying and emotional time for us.

So for this weekend, Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio will be closed. 🤍

I won’t be answering business messages, appointment enquiries or social media messages during this time. Please don’t take any lack of response personally. I just need to step away from work completely and concentrate on the people who need me most right now.

My clients and my little business mean the world to me, but sometimes life puts everything into perspective. Right now, Pixie needs us, and my family needs me. ❤️

I’ll return to messages and appointments when I feel able to, and I’m incredibly grateful for everyone's patience and understanding in the meantime.

Thank you to everyone who has checked in, sent messages, asked about Pixie and kept our little girl in your thoughts. Every single message has meant so much to us, even if I haven't had the capacity to reply. 🥺🐾💗

Extensions aren't maintenance-free. ✨

These photos are being used as an educational example of why your extension aftercare is important!

These have not been dried properly after washing and hadn't been protected at night. Sleeping with extensions loose allows the hair to rub together, twist and tangle around the attachment points. Add moisture into the mix and you've got the perfect recipe for matting. 😬

And this is exactly why I spend time going through aftercare with every extension client!

🤎 Your extension routine needs to include:
✨ Thoroughly drying your hair after washing
✨ Brushing regularly with the correct brush
✨ Keeping the attachment areas tangle-free
✨ Plaiting your hair or wearing it in a low ponytail for sleep
✨ Using a suitable sleep cap if preferred
✨ Using extension-friendly products
✨ Attending your maintenance appointments on time

Getting extensions isn't just about what happens in the salon.

The fitting is only one part of the process! How you look after them for the next 6–8 weeks plays a huge part in how they look, feel and behave.

So if you're thinking about getting extensions, please don't just consider the cost of the fitting and the hair.

Consider the maintenance, products, brushing, drying and bedtime routine too. 🤎

They're an investment, and with the right care, you can keep them looking gorgeous for much longer ☺️

Just a little studio update for all my regulars and new clients 🫶

After taking some time out to focus on my health, I’m slowly making my way back into the studio. I’m not quite 100% yet, so for the next few weeks I’ll be taking things slowly and working Tuesdays & Fridays, 10am–2.30pm.

I don’t want to rush back, overdo things and end up back where I was, so I’m listening to my body and giving myself the time I need. 🤍

Any clients already pre-booked on other days will, of course, be honoured.

I’m already pretty much booked up for my limited September availability, but I do have a few appointments remaining. If you’d like to book, please get in touch. 🖤

A little update from Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio 🤍

I’m really sorry to say that the studio will be closed this week until further notice while I take some much-needed time to focus on my health.

I’ve been experiencing some health issues recently, and after pushing myself too hard for too long, my body has essentially told me that enough is enough. I’ve now been medically advised to rest and take a step back so I can properly recover.

As many of you know, alongside running Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio, I also work another job, manage a home and family life, and juggle everything that comes with being self-employed. I’ve realised that I simply can’t keep running on empty, and right now my health has to come first.

I don’t make this decision lightly, and I know some of you have appointments, bookings and plans with me. I will personally contact anyone affected as soon as I’m able to confirm when I can safely return.

Rogue Beauty & Ink Studio is not going anywhere. 🖤
I just need a little time to reset, recover and get myself back to feeling like me again.
