21/05/2026

I don’t know about you, but I am really looking forward to a warm bank holiday weekend and hopefully getting a chance to go sea swimming.

Feeling comfortable in your clothes makes such a difference with things like this.

If you’re feeling like your energy has dipped, your healthy habits have slipped, or your clothes are feeling a little less comfortable than they used to, then the Nourished Summer Reset is designed for you.

From Saturday 6th June to Monday 15th June, I'll be focusing on empowering you to reset your health in a realistic and supportive way.

We begin with a half-day retreat at Waterloo Court Wellbeing Hub on the 6th June.

A chance to slow down, spend time together, enjoy a nourishing breakfast, and explore what it really means to nourish yourself when life is busy.

We’ll cover:
🥗 Nutrition
😴 Sleep
🧠 Stress and mindset
🚶 Movement

And I’m excited that Marie Cann from Performance Recovery will be joining us to talk about getting moving over the summer in a way that works for you, whether you’re starting from scratch or getting back into routine again.

Then, over the following 7 days, you’ll receive simple, delicious recipes carefully created to support:
✨ Energy production
✨ Hormone balance
✨ Gut health
✨ Immune health
✨ Liver support

The goal is not perfection or restriction.

It’s helping you:
✔️ Feel more energised
✔️ Reduce bloating
✔️ Sleep better
✔️ Feel more motivated
✔️ Feel more comfortable in your clothes
✔️ Get back into habits that support your wellbeing

You’ll also have 7 days of support from me as a registered Nutritional Therapist and NLP Practitioner via a private WhatsApp group, so you can ask questions and stay accountable along the way.

Feeling uncomfortable in your clothes can be frustrating.

Not because of the number on the scales, but because it often signals that something has shifted.

Your energy is lower than it used to be, you are relying on coffee to get through the afternoon and by the evening, you are reaching for chocolate, crisps, or a glass of wine.

Your sleep is not as restorative, and despite knowing what helps, it feels harder to stay consistent.

This is something I see frequently with the women I work with.
They are intelligent, capable women who are managing a lot.

They know the basics of healthy eating, but between demanding careers, family responsibilities, and the mental load of everyday life, their own health has slowly moved down the priority list.

Weight changes are often not about a lack of willpower. They can reflect a combination of stress, hormone shifts, disrupted sleep, blood sugar imbalance, and habits that no longer support the demands of daily life.

That is why I created the Nourished Summer Reset.

We begin with a half-day retreat on Saturday 6th June Waterloo Court Health & Wellbeing Hub where you can step away from the busyness and focus on what your body needs right now.

Together we will explore nutrition, stress, sleep, mindset, and movement, with practical strategies you can apply immediately.

Then, over the following seven days, you will receive:

✔️Simple, balanced recipes
✔️Shopping lists
✔️Accountability and support
✔️A community of like-minded women

No crash diets.
No calorie counting.
No all-or-nothing approach.

Just a structured and supportive way to increase your energy, feel more comfortable in your clothes, and rebuild habits that help you feel well.

If your body has been giving you signs that it needs more support, I would love you to join us.

“I know what I need to do… I just don’t do it.”

If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.

I think for many women, the challenge isn’t knowing what to do.

It’s trying to make good decisions when you’re tired, overwhelmed, and already carrying a lot.

That’s why having a backup plan matters, and even nutritionists need one!

A few of my go-to options:

🥚 Eggs on toast (I keep a loaf in the freezer for handy emergencies)
🥣 Greek yoghurt with berries (defrosted frozen berries works well) with a small handful of nuts
🥦 Steamed frozen veg, either tinned fish or rotisserie chicken and pre-cooked lentils
🍲 A couple of good-quality ready meals in the freezer from for those days I've not been so organised

Healthy eating doesn’t need to be perfect. It
It needs to be realistic and work for you.

Having a plan also helps, and this is part of what we’ll be working on in the Nourished Summer Reset.

A Half-day retreat on Saturday 6th June with the fabulous Marie Cann who will be sharing more on how movement works for you in midlife. This is followed by a week of balanced recipes, accountability, and community, supporting you to increase your energy levels, balance hormones, and feel more comfortable in your clothes.

I’m hearing more and more about AI in the health and wellness space right now.

In the past few weeks alone, I’ve had conversations with colleagues sharing that clients are bringing in protocols they’ve created using AI.

It raises an important question… are we still needed as practitioners?

I’d argue that yes, now more than ever.

Because our role isn’t just about providing information. It’s about applying context, interpreting data, ensuring safety, and seeing the bigger picture of someone’s health.

AI can generate ideas, but it can’t replace clinical reasoning, lived experience, or the nuance of working with an individual.

You might be embracing AI, you might feel cautious about it, but wherever you sit, it’s a conversation worth having.

So I’d love to know, how are you currently using AI in your business?

If you’re curious about how to use it in a way that feels supportive, we’re exploring this at our next Health & Wellness Network meet-up.

📍 Waterloo Court Health & Wellbeing Hub
🗓 Thursday 7th May
🕛 12:00 – 13:30

We’ll be joined by Mark Field from Fresh Digital Media, who will share practical, accessible ways to integrate AI into your business from content creation to systems and client communication.

Alongside that, these sessions are designed to create space for:
• Meaningful conversations with like-minded professionals
• Sharing what’s working (and what’s not)
• Building genuine connections and collaborations

If AI is something you’ve been thinking about, but haven’t fully explored yet, this is a great place to start.

You invest in your relationships, your work, your family, your home…so why not invest in yourself?

I was at an event yesterday called Wealth Reimagined, and something really stood out to me.

Many women feel unsure about investing money…
and yet, we invest all the time.

In our family.
Our friends.
Our home.
Our work.

But when it comes to our health, we often wait.

I see this a lot with the women I work with. They’re often at the bottom of the pile, and it takes something like illness, perimenopause, or burnout before they feel able to seek support.

What if we changed that?

What if investing in your health became something you did before things reached that point?

Because your health underpins everything.

Your energy.
Your focus.
Your ability to actually enjoy your life.

After developing CFS, there was a time when I couldn’t work or do the things I loved.

Once I recovered, I knew I wanted to help others do the same, so I retrained as a nutritional therapist.

Looking back, that was one of the biggest investments I’ve made in myself.

On the note of investing, I’ve just paid into my pension for the first time in 6 years 🎉

Leaving the NHS meant I left my brilliant pension, and I’ve been putting off starting my own. A lot of that was down to fear and it feeling like a bigger step than it needed to be.

Thus year I’ve learnt from people who understand it far better than I do, and it gave me the confidence to take that first step.

I think health can feel the same, so if you’ve been putting off investing in your health, this is your reminder that you’re worth it.

If you want support with that, let's talk.

There are times when it's good to be reminded of what happens when you keep dreaming. Even when health challenges arise or life throws curve balls you never expected.

Last night I got to spend a road trip with my fellow female founder, previous children's nurse and awesome flower farming ( aka my sister) up to HQ, which was a gorgeous location for a meet up.

The food was delicious, with ideas on how I can support clients further. The panel conversations encouraging as I continue to follow the vision I have and a real sense of let's lift each other up and see how far we go.

Fab to see and meet
