Summer Reading! I know it’s towards the end of the summer now, but I just wanted to share my summer reads and have been meaning to do this for awhile! The house is quiet yesterday, so this seemed a good moment to prep this.

Do you let me know if you like this kind of post? I used to email out monthly recent reading, but actually became quite exhausted by the requirement to read one book a month! 🤣….But happy to share every so often if it’s of interest. I like getting recommendations and so thought I would share mine.

If I don’t like a book, I don’t read past the first 100 pages, so all of these have passed that test! (I heard this hint from somebody once on the radio)... Until a few years ago I read to the end of absolutely everything, but now have realised life is too short for that 🤣and that there are thousands of books out there that I want to read!

1. The Enchanted April is a 1922 novel by British-Australian writer Elizabeth von Arnim

Actually have just found this is a movie too so will definitely be looking that up!
