The Mane Retreat

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the closing of The Mane Retreat, effective 31st August 2024.

Since opening our doors in 2014 we have been proud to serve this community and thank you for your patronage.

I’d also like to thank Fiona, jorden and Ges for being with me (almost from the very beginning for Fiona and Jorden, and a few years later for Ges) whilst we made The Mane Reteat a relaxed and friendly salon to work at and to visit! Thank you girls for all your hard work, loyalty and friendship! I’ll miss working with you and wish you all the very best for your collective futures!

We have space for full and or part time experienced hairdressers/ barbers on a chair rental basis!

Unlike profit share percentages and unachievable targets, you will find at The Mane Retreat our chair rental rates are extremely competitive, £55 a day with a 4 week pro rater payment break (effectively 4 weeks holiday) and the team support you will receive from me in building and creating a full and successful column is unlike any other salon you will have worked at.

Our newly refurbished salon gives our stylists and salon guest confidence in these covid times.

I believe that in order for my business to grow my team needs to be happy and fulfilled, by earning decent money and having the opportunity to grow and learn varied skills, with back up and training from our suppliers and a friendly environment to work in, your move to The Mane Retreat could be that start of something special for all!!
