The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

And it’s bye for now for Ashleigh as she enjoys a couple of weeks off before the arrival of her baby boy 💖

We all send you so much love and comfort and can’t wait to meet your bundle of joy when he arrives 💞

Dermarollering is becoming ever more popular but what is it and is it safe?

There are many different forms of dermarollers including salon and at home treatments.
It's by far the best form of skin rejuvenation as it stimulates the skin to produce more collagen.

It's generally where a hand held roller with tiny needles is rolled over the skin.

You may have heard of the 'vampire facial' and seen images of bright red skin following a dermarollering treatment due to the fact they used to believe that's how the treatment worked. However, we now know that it is the stimulation of the fibroblast cells found in the dermis that stimulate collagen production.

It does mean that the treatment is most effective with needles that are 1mm.
As it can be a slightly uncomfortable sensation, we use the COMCIT machine and offer dermarollering as part of the Frozen Facial. This is where we cool the skin with freezing cold oxygen to both naturally numb the skin and push the blood away from the surface. It ensures a relatively relaxing experience whereby there's no red skin afterwards or any downtime.
