I felt so grateful and honoured to have been invited to be part of the judging panel in Manchester, to celebrate the upcoming awards of beauty practitioners in aesthetics, beauty and semi-permanent makeup.

This invitation means so much more than simply being asked to judge. It will carry so much responsibility. Every finalist has given years of dedication, sacrifice and hard work, and I truly believe those achievements deserve to be recognised and for me to see every finalists work with fairness, integrity and respect.

How did the years go by so quickly?

It feels like only yesterday I was holding Alysia’s little hand and taking her to her first day of high school. In what feels like the blink of an eye, she’s finished school and is all grown up.

Seeing Alysia with her two best friends filled my heart. I’ve watched these girls grow up together over the years. They’ve laughed in our home, made so many memories, and gone from little girls to beautiful, confident young women. Time really does fly.

As a mum, you spend years encouraging your children to grow, become independent, and chase their dreams. But when that moment finally comes, you realise a little piece of your heart has grown up too.

Alysia, I couldn’t be prouder of the young woman you’ve become. Your kindness, strength, and caring nature make me proud every single day. No matter how old you get or where life takes you, you’ll always be my little girl.

This is the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. Whatever comes next, I know you’ll give it your all, and I’ll always be cheering you on.
