Redness after crystal microdermabrasion treatment is a normal reaction caused by increased blood circulation and the physical exfoliation of the top layer of dead skin cells.

Why It Happens;

Increased Blood Flow: The vacuum suction and crystals stimulate blood flow to the surface of the skin, creating a flushed or mildly sunburned appearance.

Freshly Buffed Skin: Removing the outermost layer (stratum corneum) temporarily exposes tender, sensitive new skin layers underneath.

Aftercare tips:

*Keep your skin cool: Splash your face gently with cold water or use a cool compress if your skin feels hot.

*Moisturise: Apply a gentle, hydrating, fragrance-free moisturiser regularly.

*Protect from the sun: Apply an SPF 15 or higher to shield your vulnerable new skin from UV rays.

*Avoid harsh products: Skip strong active ingredients (like retinoids or glycolic acid), saunas, sun beds, and heavy sweating for at least 24 to 48 hours.
