It’s all over! 80% pass mark gave me the fear but I did it. It was very tough and incredibly statistic heavy. It’s so nuanced that just sitting with the BNF picking out HRT just isn’t enough. We’re failing women. I’ve spent months studying how to troubleshoot side effects, arrive at differentials, navigate conditions such as breast cancer, endometriosis and primary ovarian insufficiency. Arguably one of the toughest post grad certs I’ve studied yet, but also one of the most interesting. My web designer is working away on the new website and I’m working on consent forms, prescribing & referral logistics and pricing structure for the new services. I cannot wait to help everyone out. New signage up. Edging ever closer to our weird apothecary vibe. I finish my BMS Menopause Management course a week on Monday so I’ll be trying to find time to get that on the treatment list and plan the structure. I’ve invested four figures and 8 months into this so it won’t be a free service that you can get while you’re in for some tox. It needs to be done with proper clinical supervision and coaching. Ashleigh and I have a meeting on Wednesday to review the clinical protocols and SOPs so there will be a complete overhaul of treatment lists. There may be a few small price increases but nothing severe and they will be few and far between.

Two ZO 0.5 Retinol skin brighteners up for grabs as they have a short expiry (Sept 26). They remain active LONG after that but we can’t sell them. This is my go to entry level medical grade retinol on skin that has tolerated actives before. This can be slotted into any skincare regime and I’ll give you advice on how to do it. RRP £120. Still love doing lip filler on a blank canvas. It’s always satisfying. It remains one of the most popular treatments we do in clinic and there will always be a place for an artistically done lip enhancement. New flooring is going in on Friday and the new paint colour/signage will go up early September. Perfect timing for me finishing the BMS menopause post grad certification and launching the menopause service. Ashleigh also begins the prescribing module of her Masters then too. Changes are afoot!

Regulars on the booking system: it only lets you book 6 weeks in advance but anything else can be booked via me directly. The clinic will be getting a new floor and getting painted so expect some further weeks of upheaval in the future. Might as well refurbish work while we’re doing house renovations? Great idea 🙄😂
