A few things I wouldn’t do if I was building my business again...
I wouldn’t obsess over what everyone else in my industry is doing
I wouldn’t lower my prices to make people comfortable.
And I definitely wouldn’t build a business that relied on me working harder and harder just to earn more.
Over the last year, there have been so many moments that nobody sees. The evenings spent researching when everyone else had gone to bed
The courses
The mistakes
The money invested back into the business when it would have been easier to keep it
The uncomfortable decisions
The moments I questioned myself
The times I showed up anyway
Whilst it might look like I’ve been fitting hair, posting on social media and running appointments, a huge amount of my time has actually been spent working on the business rather than in it.
Learning
Planning
Refining
Building systems
Improving consultations
Understanding marketing
Understanding people
Understanding what makes someone trust you.
Because I realised something quite early on...
The goal isn’t to become busier
The goal is to become better
Better at your craft
Better at communicating
Better at leading
Better at serving people
A lot of people focus on what will make them money this month
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what will still be paying me in five years.
The reputation
The personal brand
The client experience
The skills
The knowledge
The things that compound
It’s not always the exciting work
In fact, most of it is quite boring
But it’s the boring things done consistently that create extraordinary results.
I’m still very much in the middle of the journey.
But if there’s one thing I’ve learned so far, it’s that the businesses people admire are usually built in the moments nobody sees.
And I have a feeling I’m only just getting started 🤍
Most of my clients wish they had a hair system sooner 🫶✨

These are the things women do when they’re worried, frustrated, embarrassed or desperately looking for answers:
1. Search online late at night
• lie awake scrolling Google, TikTok, Facebook groups, and forums at 2am looking for answers, reassurance, or someone who understands what they’re going through.
2. Spend hours analysing their hair in the mirror
• constantly check their parting, temples, crown, and hairline in different lighting, comparing photos from months or years ago.
3. Avoid photos and videos
• position themselves carefully, avoid overhead lighting, refuse group photos, or immediately zoom into pictures to check if their scalp is visible.
4. Try multiple products hoping for a solution
• buy shampoos, serums, supplements, oils, vitamins, scalp treatments, and “miracle” products, often spending hundreds or thousands of pounds searching for an answer.
5. Change their hairstyle to hide thinning areas
• switch their parting, wear their hair up less often, rely on dry shampoo, fibres, root sprays, hats, headbands, or strategic styling to disguise the areas causing concern.
6. Cancel social plans because they don’t feel like themselves
• A bad hair day doesn’t feel like a bad hair day anymore. It affects confidence, dating, work meetings, holidays, and social events because their hair feels tied to their identity.
7. Quietly follow hair loss specialists for months before reaching out
• watch every video, read every caption, visit websites repeatedly, check reviews and save posts long before they ever send an enquiry because they’re scared of being judged or sold to.
These behaviours reveal something deeper:
Women with hair loss are rarely just looking for more hair. They’re looking for relief from the constant mental load of thinking about their hair every single day ❤️
That is often the real transformation your mesh integration and hair loss services provide. Not just density and coverage but freedom. Follow along to see what I could offer you ✨

One of the things I don’t think people realise about my job is that it isn’t really about the hair.
As I was fitting her hair, I caught myself looking at her reflection. Not at the transformation itself, but at her eyes. They told me everything before she even said a word. I could see years of frustration, disappointment, and the quiet sadness that comes from not feeling like yourself anymore. The kind of feelings that most people carry silently because they don’t know how to explain them.
As the appointment went on, I watched those same eyes soften. There was relief there. Hope. Confidence slowly returning. It wasn’t a dramatic moment and there weren’t floods of tears, but there was something far more powerful. It was the look of someone beginning to recognise herself again.
Those are the moments that stay with me long after the appointment ends. Because whilst I fit hair every day, what I’m really witnessing is women reconnecting with themselves. And honestly, being trusted with that is something I never take for granted.
I knew how she felt, I didn’t want to particularly document this transformation for it to be seen online, I was in the moment with her and I can just try and tell you by the words I write rather than the content we are all searching for online. If I’m totally honest with you, I didn’t even take an after photo. These appointments are so individual for each client. Let me know if you want to hear what goes on within these appointments by commenting ❤️
Not many people would take about this online 🦋

It baffled me when my client told me she removed 100 keratin bonds from her hair. Take a look at my previous post, you can see how much bio hair this lady had before I fitted mesh integration. You will be shocked too. The bonds weren’t customised in any way, they were clearly fitted as ‘factory standard’ extensions. The weight was extremely heavy, I’m certainly not shaming a stylist doing this, as I’m still pretty sure that not many extensionists are aware of hair loss systems that are available. Most of my clients do find out about mesh integration by accident. They search for answers after medication not giving the results they long for. It’s hard to find qualified professional that do the work I do. It really does make me so grateful that I have given this opportunity for clients to chat privately about their hair loss worries and offer as much advice and support as I can. This mesh integration has already changed her life. You can go and catch out the review she left on my booking system in my bio. Please do take a look ✨ you can book a hair loss consultation too while you’re there 😉💕
