Availability is purposefully limited. Here’s why and how to get in.

I work alone and keep my books deliberately small, the process is a little different here. Less rush and more care. Thorough consultations, precision curl cutting, education at every step. So you might need to wait a while before you can get in.

New Clients

Availability is limited and spaces are released on the 20th of each month at 8.30pm. The waitlist is the most reliable route in as you will be notified of cancellations along with new appointments.

Returning Curl Cut Clients

Waitlist requests for the following month open until the 14th. I allocate these before the general online release on the 15th

Colour

If we’ve worked together before, book as normal. If colour is something you’d like to explore, message me first on WhatsApp so we can talk through what’s right for your hair.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 9.00am–2.30pm. Days vary weekly. No weekends, I work around family, and I make no apology for that.

Shop & Gift Vouchers

The online shop carries Oway, Sophic, Innersense, Manta, Glowwa and other items. Gift vouchers are available in two forms, product shop vouchers for anyone, and appointment vouchers for existing clients. Please see the gift voucher post to explain why they are separate.

A little update, and a big thank you.

If you’re new here, welcome. If you’ve been with me for a while, thank you, genuinely. Your support means everything.

I’m Sarah, owner, stylist, and educator, and the person behind BlewBelle Curl Spa (formerly BlewBelle Curl Studio). I’ve been quietly evolving this space, and it felt like the right time to bring everything together and share what that looks like now.

The Space
I created BlewBelle as a private, 1-2-1 sanctuary long before working from home was the norm. My studio is built around calm, intention, and care. Ethically conscious, ecologically minded, and designed to feel like a breath of fresh air the moment you arrive. The move from Studio to Spa reflects what this space has always truly been: not just a haircut, but a restorative experience.

The craft
I’ve spent years investing in education from international curl cutting and colouring to menopause-related hair loss, and Trichology. Why? Because everyone who sits in my chair deserves the very best. I mix and match products across brands to suit you, your curls, and your scalp. Every product is chosen on performance and the integrity of the brand behind it. Always cruelty-free.

I fell in love with curly hair in 2015 and went on to become the first stylist in Cornwall to complete recognised curl cutting training. By 2018, BlewBelle became curls, coils, and waves only. My goal has always been simple: to give you the salon experience your straight-haired friends take for granted. To feel excited, pampered, and truly heard. To leave with dry, defined curls you’re proud to show off.

As a trichologist in training, this is where I share everything around scalp concerns, hair loss, and thinning including information about my free chemotherapy curl appointments and my volunteering with the Cancer Hair Care Charity.

I’ve had lots of conversations in the studio lately about drying curls and ways to prevent frizz happening. Following my technique really helps but also considering what you’re wearing whilst you’re drying.

I suggest flipping your curls from side to side to give you volume at the root. If you’re wearing clothing that creates friction whilst you do this (jumpers, towelling robes etc) you will get frizz in underneath at the back.

You need a fabric that allows your curls to glide. Less frizz, more definition.

And having been by a few clients I now have the gowns I use available for purchase. These are kimono style gowns, in my dark teal colour and they tie around the waist.

Perfect to pop on when you get out of the shower or to pop over your clothes whilst you diffuse or air dry.

I have a limited number at the moment whilst I gage interest and the introductory price is £35. The gowns are fully washable, you can pop them in the machine on a 40 degree wash.

I’m also super excited as they have my new trademark on them too 🩵
