So anyone that knows Chelsea and I, knows we ❤️ animals! The best bit about our new working pattern is all the amazing animals we meet and see. Dogs, cats, chickens, sheep, miniature horses to name a few, but I had to get a picture of this super rare Leucistic squirrel, it’s grey and white and a regular visitor to our clients garden. I think I must’ve spent about 30 minutes in absolute aw! What do you think? 🐿️ Also who’s up for a pet of the week feature? 😂

Hello DAX Club, today’s update comes with a tinge of sadness I’m afraid. From now DAX is closing its doors. Without going into too much personal detail on the internet, as some of you may be aware our son has had some struggles with his health and as things are right now those struggles outweigh everything. This isn’t a decision we have taken lightly but it is one that is necessary, we feel very sad about it.

Our son and our family has to come first, we made a promise to our children to make sure they always had the support and love they need and deserve. This means putting them above all else. Obviously financially this will mean a lot let stress upon our family and give us more time to dedicate to our precious children.

We have been through so much at DAX, a pandemic, a cost of living crisis, our beautiful children coming home and you have been there through it all. We are so grateful, but this is just a storm we cannot weather and it would not be fair to do so on our family. All of these things above have brought incredible amounts of stress to our life and simply put we cannot add anymore stress to our lives right now.

However this isn’t the end of our hairdressing careers, we will still be hairdressing but being mobile to work around our son’s appointments etc and making sure our daughter also gets the love and support she needs.

Anyone with an appointment booked will be contacted and offered a mobile appointment with ourselves. You can still contact us via this page and our page.

We still promise the same wonderful haircuts and colours and awful chat (from Stacey) and if you choose to follow us we would absolutely love to still see you but we obviously understand for some people the salon experience is important.

We are always eternally grateful for all your support, our clients are like family to us and the ones we have had a chance to speak to about our situation have brought us nearly to tears with your kindness. We hope for most of you this isn’t goodbye.
