🤍 make sure the mothers get time to be pampered too. Even when everyone around me is stressed. Because she can feel it. And she deserves better than that. I sit down with her. I look at her. And I ask the question most artists skip: “How do you want to feel today?” Not how do you want to look. How do you want to feel. This is the moment she sinks down in my chair and feels calm and heard.

When kelly booked me to do her wedding makeup she told me she didn’t want pink, although I said pink would match her beautiful wedding dress, so in her trial we went more browns and bronzes, which she liked, but after leaving and having that look for a few hours she said it didn’t feel like her, so she decided to arrange another trial.

Although kelly said no pink’s, she asked to try soft pink’s on the next trial with a soft pink on the cheeks too instead on bronze and she fell in love, so that’s what we did for the wedding and she absolutely loved it. I even created her own colour of lipstick to match her overall makeup and gave her a little pot in her touch up kit that I give to all my brides so she could re apply throughout the day if needed.
