Hello,
I am a qualified, registered nurse with a background in working within the community. I have a husband and daughter and we live in Truro.
I live in Truro and I am a qualified and insured foot health practitioner and retired nurse, offering a mobile service within a 5 mile radius of Truro City Centre 👣 I trained and qualified as an advanced level 7 foot health practitioner with the SMAE Institute in March 2024. I am originally from Surrey but moved to Cornwall, Mullion in 1998. I am insured, registered and DBS checked, and my nursing background and experience aid in foot care planning for all my clients. All my instruments are excellent quality and 'gold standard' sterilised using a sonic cleaner and an autoclave machine. Many clients see me regularly for foot care and some need help and advice for callus, corns or verruca's going forward. The first visit cost is £50.00 which includes:
Obtaining a full medical history inc. medications,
A doppler test to check for arterial status to the foot
Monofilament test to identify any peripheral neuropathy
Assessment and up to an hours treatment
Subsequent visits are at a cost of £40.00

Just because you live with chronic nail fungus, it doesn't mean you have to live with discomfort.
Thick, fungal and involuted nails are tricky to self manage! It’s important to manage thickness, length and stop skin from becoming pinched and traumatised.

🦶 Why Elevating Your Feet Matters 🦶
After a long day, your feet work hard for you — and a little elevation can make a big difference!
✨ Benefits of putting your feet up:
• Helps reduce swelling
• Encourages healthy circulation
• Can ease tired, aching legs
• Helps reduce pressure on joints
• A simple way to relax and unwind
Put your feet up, they will thank you! 👣

After 48 hours missing, we were reunited with our beautiful Dexter at Trelissick last night! I cannot tell you how awful the last two days have been.
MASSIVE THANKS TO DogLost Cornwall Uk and Cornwall Search Dogs, for their help and advice which got Dexter home to us. Also, thank you to those of you I’ve seen over the last 48 hours who have been so kind ! The best outcome ever ❤️

Have you got an annoying hot spot on your sole, such a a reoccurring corn? I can now provide and fit zero sole. These can be really successful for some people, assessment would be necessary to see if these could help!

Are your feet out yet?
Don’t forget, your feet have 250,000 sweat glands producing up to two cups of fluid a day. This can result in dry uncomfortable heels.
Emollients not only provide a protective barrier but pull water into the epidermis layer providing much needed hydration 👣🧘♂️
