Hey everyone, just a quick clarification following an online article shared this weekend.
Some information has been published about the premises without my consent and does not accurately reflect where things currently stand.
Nothing has been approved or finalised, and I’m addressing this directly following the number of messages I’ve received.
There is an intention to relocate the salon within Tunbridge Wells, however no property has been secured and no change of use has been approved by the council at this stage, so everything remains as is for now.
I want to be clear that I am not closing my businesses, both the salon and training academy are operating as normal and remain very busy.
All appointments and training will continue as normal on St John’s Road, and I’ll share updates once there is confirmed information to do so.

▫️After years of back and forth, it’s finally been confirmed — a new licensing scheme for aesthetics is coming. It was previously paused, but as of yesterday, the government has officially announced that it will be implemented.▫️So, what does this mean for my clients and students? Right now — not much. But once the full rollout details are released, I’ll make sure you’re the first to know. Until then, there’s no action required, but stay tuned.▫️What we do know is that licensing will likely require a higher standard of training — including qualifications at Level 4, 5, and 7. I completed these myself last year, so as both a practitioner and trainer, I’m already ahead of the curve and ready to support you through the changes.▫️If you’re already working in aesthetics and want to stay ahead of the game, now’s the perfect time to upskill. IN A FUNK — NOT GUNA LIE…
▫️Everyone always says, “Talk to someone when you’re struggling” and as uncomfortable as that can feel sometimes, I’ve realised how true it really is. I recently reached out to my two best friends, and while it hasn’t magically fixed how I’m feeling inside, it reminded me that I’m surrounded by people who genuinely care. And that matters. A lot. 💛
▫️If you’re in a similar headspace, I’d really encourage you to do the same or know that my DMs are always open. I get how hard it can be to share the real stuff, even with those closest to you. But sometimes that one conversation can lighten the load.
▫️So if I’m a little spicier… or quieter… depending on the day you catch me, just know I’m human too. I’ve been in a bit of a funk the past month or so, but I’m doing my best to talk through it, not just sit in it. Maybe the sunshine will help lift the fog a bit. For now, I’m making myself do my hair and make up & most importantly showing up for work, and doing my best to wear a smile — even if it’s a bit wobbly some days 🥰
