I am a very experienced, award winning makeup artist based in Tunbridge Wells. Kent & E Sussex Laetitia`s passion for make up evolved from her love of art.
After art school training she attended The London School of Make up, where she was selected by Caryn Franklyn from ID Magazine for her first published work. Over the next twenty years her career has included magazine editorials, advertising, record companies, fashion shows, popular TV shows and bridal. I’m Laetitia and I have been a Makeup Artist all my working life.
I did Art at college, then enrolled at The London School of Makeup which I loved. It was full of International students too and I got the full Japanese Geisha makeup from a lovely Japanese student one session.
After growing up in London and working there in the industry for many years on photo shoots, fashion shows, TV, premium cosmetics brands as Training Manager I eventually moved to Tunbridge Wells with my young twin girls 👯♀️
I then launched Makeup Angel and I now focus on Bridal Makeup, Makeup Tutorials and Special Event makeup including Prom Makeup 💄
I specialise in a more natural makeup look, where you still look like you but the absolute best version!
Makeup is a such a joy to do, just to see the confidence it can bring with the subtle use of the right products in the right places 💋

Well we certainly had a sunny day for Katie’s wedding day, one of the hottest! But with plenty of water spray and fans we managed to keep cool getting Katie and ready. 💦☀️
I had had the pleasure of doing Katie’s makeup before at her sister’s wedding 3 years before, and her lovely mum Trish, so it was a breeze knowing what they liked and what suited them. So special to work with them all again! 😘
Emily created gorgeous hair and is one of my Recommended Hair Stylists and Lauren assisted me with all the bridesmaids and did a fabulous job as ever! 🤩

💄Choosing your makeup artist for your is one of your most important supplier decisions you make 👰🏽♀️👰🏼
A few things to think about !
💋A personal recommendation is always a good starting point but do make sure you like their specific style of makeup.
I specialise in a more natural style.
💋Check out who your venue recommends, ask your photographer ( they will have seen makeup artists working on many mornings and photographed their work close up ) and of course your hairstylist.
When booking me, do ask if you are still looking for a hairstylist as I regularly work with a highly experienced and talented few. 💇🏼♀️
💋See who your are working with and tagging on Instagram, Facebook etc. If they’re regularly working together that’s a great sign and they’re probably local too.
💋Do choose local, less time to travel on your wedding day and for you on your Makeup Trial Day.
I hold my trials in my Home Studio in Tunbridge Wells.
💋DON’T base such an important decision on how much they charge, how often they post or how many followers they have.
Just because they’re good at Social Media it doesn’t mean they’re a good, experienced makeup artist!
💋Do have a look at their website, and check out their biography. If they have plenty of experience it will all be there!
💋Don’t be too taken in by wedding award logo’s, they’re often paid for. Some are credible and some aren’t.
💋Don’t leave it too late to book your Makeup Artist, you May miss out on the one you want.

💖Welcome to my NEW HOME STUDIO 💖
Yes I have moved the studio again, but only from the conservatory to a room in the house.
With Summer approaching I don’t want my clients getting overheated in the conservatory. That will be knocked down anyway to make way for our house extension and a kitchen diner. I can’t wait but it will take time. 🏡
If you look closely you can actually see the footings of the new garden studio from the window 👀

💖Beautiful Bride Sophie 💖
A special morning with the most chilled bride Sophie and her bride tribe, her lovely mum and sister and bridesmaids.
Sophie wanted a natural makeup just to enhance and define her features with the focus on her eyes.
We chose a shimmering gold on her lids with a warm colour in the socket to enhance her eye colour, defined with a dark brown and some individual cluster lashes on the outer corners. Lips were lined and glossed Sophie was not a lipstick fan ✨
