I am a very experienced, award winning makeup artist based in Tunbridge Wells. Kent & E Sussex Laetitia`s passion for make up evolved from her love of art.
After art school training she attended The London School of Make up, where she was selected by Caryn Franklyn from ID Magazine for her first published work. Over the next twenty years her career has included magazine editorials, advertising, record companies, fashion shows, popular TV shows and bridal. 💄I offer makeup lessons in my Home Studio💄
These are for anyone who may feel they don’t really know the colours that really suit them and how best to apply them.
You may be fed up buying makeup that isn’t quite right when you get home or you’re just not sure how to use it.
There is an overwhelming choice of cosmetics now available and a lesson can not only help with application but I recommend products and demonstrate how to apply them so you come away with a list products that you can then buy whenever you like.
I offer lessons for all ages including Mature ladies and teenagers. You can come as a pair with a friend, your mum, sister etc. You can buy a lesson as a Gift 🎁
I previously worked as UK Training Manager for a premium Cosmetics Company and I love to pass on all my knowledge and expertise 💋

Sharing some photos from my bride to be Catrin Williams ✨
I don’t always share the trial makeup but having a trial is a very important part of your wedding makeup process.
It can be daunting and often my brides say they feel nervous especially if they’re not used to wearing much makeup. Because I specialise in a more this is often the case.
Catrin’s brief was “ defined eyes with a subtle wing to emphasise the shape “
She liked “ skin that looked like skin “with a healthy glow and a “natural pinkish lip”
To create her desired look we used some soft shimmering golds on her eyes and brown eyeliner above the lash line with added individual clusters on the outer corners.
A radiant skin primer was used after skincare, to create that “lit from within glow” followed by a hydrating foundation.
Cheeks were shaped using bronzer and a soft sheen of pink on the high apples of her cheeks gave her a healthy glow.
A natural pinkish lip colour which enhanced her natural lip colour completed the look.
I always like to choose the lipstick first and then tie in the cheek colour to really bring the look together.

I’m Laetitia and I have been a Makeup Artist all my working life.
I did Art at college, then enrolled at The London School of Makeup which I loved. It was full of International students too and I got the full Japanese Geisha makeup from a lovely Japanese student one session.
After growing up in London and working there in the industry for many years on photo shoots, fashion shows, TV, premium cosmetics brands as Training Manager I eventually moved to Tunbridge Wells with my young twin girls 👯♀️
I then launched Makeup Angel and I now focus on Bridal Makeup, Makeup Tutorials and Special Event makeup including Prom Makeup 💄
I specialise in a more natural makeup look, where you still look like you but the absolute best version!

Well we certainly had a sunny day for Katie’s wedding day, one of the hottest! But with plenty of water spray and fans we managed to keep cool getting Katie and ready. 💦☀️
I had had the pleasure of doing Katie’s makeup before at her sister’s wedding 3 years before, and her lovely mum Trish, so it was a breeze knowing what they liked and what suited them. So special to work with them all again! 😘

💄Choosing your makeup artist for your is one of your most important supplier decisions you make 👰🏽♀️👰🏼
A few things to think about !
💋A personal recommendation is always a good starting point but do make sure you like their specific style of makeup.
I specialise in a more natural style.
💋Check out who your venue recommends, ask your photographer ( they will have seen makeup artists working on many mornings and photographed their work close up ) and of course your hairstylist.
When booking me, do ask if you are still looking for a hairstylist as I regularly work with a highly experienced and talented few. 💇🏼♀️
💋See who your are working with and tagging on Instagram, Facebook etc. If they’re regularly working together that’s a great sign and they’re probably local too.
💋Do choose local, less time to travel on your wedding day and for you on your Makeup Trial Day.
I hold my trials in my Home Studio in Tunbridge Wells.
💋DON’T base such an important decision on how much they charge, how often they post or how many followers they have.
Just because they’re good at Social Media it doesn’t mean they’re a good, experienced makeup artist!
💋Do have a look at their website, and check out their biography. If they have plenty of experience it will all be there!
💋Don’t be too taken in by wedding award logo’s, they’re often paid for. Some are credible and some aren’t.
💋Don’t leave it too late to book your Makeup Artist, you May miss out on the one you want.
